They are a joke took my car there for an alignment and the new ball joint that was put in pulled out and they let it sit in there parking lot n told us we need to call a tow truck and take it somewhere else there to busy to fix it are there no reputable mechanics around mifflin county anymore he ended up putting it back together after another mechanic personally called them and told them about there selves. My daughter and I both went to Eddie's for full brake jobs the same week. Her brake's were screwing up less then 3 weeks later but was nothing we could do about it as she was away at college. I just took my jeep to another garage for inspection, and I had to spend $700 on brakes and rotors because my brakes and rotors failed. It has been a 2 months since I was at Eddie's and my jeep has been in the garage for a month of that. The garage it is at now told me the back brakes weren't even touched. So I essentially paid Eddie's $300 for front brake pads. I thought these guys were honest and a good garage to go to, and since I just moved to the area I was going there for everything. well, no longer. Friendly, reasonably priced, great location, and quick service. Here is the only problem which brings the ratings down. I don't care for their selection of tires. Also, if you ask for a name brand, they will try and sell an off brand sometimes telling you it is made in the same factory. There is a reason those tires are not carrying the name brand. Typically, their off brand tires last for a very short period of time. But, you get what you pay for. Let me stress that if you are okay with the tire selection, this is the place to go. I've lost count of how many times I've been to Eddie's Tires. There are always at least 4 guys working so you're never waiting. If they're busy, they'll let you know. Hard to believe a small town shop like this can stay in business but I'm glad they are! read more
