They quickly responded and gave us an estimate that we accepted. We were told they would contact us at least a day ahead of the work being done. Randomly about a week later a crew showed up on a day we were going to be gone. No warning. They started working and we started to leave. The supervisor flags us down and asks for payment in full. We explained that we did not have the payment yet as it had not been transferred into the account we were paying them with. He firmly stated that they needed payment right then. The job was just started, we were not contacted that they were coming that day. My husband ran back in the house to write a check and asked them not to cash it until the next week. They agreed. The job was supposed to be completed that day. When we got home later that evening we noticed there were several things that had not been completed. In the meantime our check did clear. What followed was 2 weeks of bad communication and promises broken. They would say they would be at our house at a certain time and day and then not show up, and not text or call with a reason. We always had to call them. Finally my husband got pretty direct with the owner and told him how disappointed we were with the situation and that he just wanted the job completed. He was gaslighted a bit by the owner. The next day the owner finally completed the work. For this we appreciate that he finally honored his word. This company touts their faith as the backbone of their business. The landscape stonework was done very nicely. Unfortunately, 3 of the 7 bushes they planted died. We are just happy to be done with the situation and suggest to the owner and his supervisor's to just communicate with their future customers. That is pretty easy in a time of texting and cell phone technology.

I was looking for things that not everyone in TV has, and succeeded, I bought a " Fire Lime", gorgeous. They also had jalatropha, which none else around here had, and I had to buy it at the Edison Estate. It is beautiful and deadly toxic. Bigger than it looks. Price for my large Fire Lime was only $20, a bargain I think. I like K and B too, but Goney's is even better

Ray, one of the owners of the company personally came to our home and suggested hardy plants to replace them. Goney's recently completed the job and I am extremely happy with the installation. The crew doing the install work for Goney's directly and were quite professional and courteous. The real benefit of going to Goney's is actually going to the nursery and being able to see what you were going to get installed. The staff at the nursery were very helpful about info about the plants. If you hire a landscaper with no nursery you do not know what you will be getting installed. So you maybe paying for very small plants and get "bait and switched" on the plants. They are a long time company in the area with an Excellent reputation..
