Incredible ambience right in the middle of Eden Roc hotel's lobby. The swanky mid century glamor is the star here. Service was great but food and drink so so. 5 star ambience: the whole vibe of the lobby is carried over into the central bar. Everything is brass wood and glitz. 5 star service: both bartenders were very friendly and helpful. They were a matched set of good looking muscular guys. Be aware that like most places on the beach, the tip is already added to the check. 4 star food: the bar eats are furnished by Nobu ( Miami branch of famous NYC eatery is at back of the hotel). I wish I could not only vote on the bar but the hotel in general. The hotel has no Yelp site. Anyhow, stay away. This hotel is ghetto to say the least and at $700 plus dollars per night, a true ripoff! We had stayed here once years ago and it seemed nice, but boy, has it turned into a DUMP with a very sketchy clientele. We did not feel safe. The carpets are gross, the elevators were not working, we waited almost an hour to get our car after calling the valet. We had a "club level" room and it was a joke. It's no wonder American Express Travel is not affiliated with this dump! Stay away! read more

My low expectations of a Miami Beach Hotel were interestingly exceeded. I had an amazing server and bartender Liz who really worked to prove she was worth the automatic 20% gratuity and gave her a bit more for a job well done. I recommend this place during their lunch hour. I had a great lunch with my friends, between the ambiance and decor. I highly recommend the chicken wings baked preferably with the sauces on the side. The fries were perfect with the right amount of crisp and I love the spicy ketchup that came with them. I love the mango passion martini and the passion fruit lychee. REALLY gone downhill. It occasionally rain La In MIAMI and when people stay at a resort they expect to be able to have a nice time if it's indoors or out- for the Eden Roc to charge. $39.40 per day as a "resort fee" then not staff the bar so there is ONE bartender and NO WAITERS for 40 people is ridiculous. To make it worse, then the horrible service the bartender couldn't provide had a 22% service charge added on!!! read more

So the center bar is awesome along with the service and drink selections. They do have food but it's only from Nobu. Because it's Nobu it can be a little pricey. They also include gratuity at 18%. I ordered two hand rolls and the total bill was about $38. But again it's Nobu. I would prefer if there was a different menu for the bar and not just the Nobu menu. There is a Starbucks on site but it closes at 7pm. Other food options would be to driver somewhere else or delivery. There's really nothing simple next door. Come hungry for Nobu or bust. Poor service. I ordered the crabcakes. Very disappointing. Lots of filler and spice. Not much taste or crab. I went to the pool and had to hunt down someone to give me a chair cover and towel. Let's just say I've been to thousands of bars and never in my life seen a bar close and basically kick 50 plus people out that are paying $15 a drink minimal with tip already added. They lost hundreds if not thousands of dollars doing this! Dade county allows 5am close! There were dozens of people hanging out that just got to Town And they wanted to celebrate their vacation and they had to yell last call at 11:30? Then they are left to cab it somewhere else?
