I called a dozen or so of them and all of them either didn't return my call, or I found out that the company is no longer in business. The only person to answer my call was Dave Cahill of Cahill Excavation. Dave came over to my house, dug up the driveway and located the leak no problem. Unfortunately, the water line was not a standard type or size, so he had to scramble all day to make calls and check supply companies to locate parts to fix the problem.. Something that should have taken a few hours took almost all day, through no fault of Dave...I was with him the whole time and know the amount of effort he put in to fixing the problem and the huge number of people he called around to looking for parts that'd work. There is no way any other contractor would have tried as hard as he did to come up with a workable fix that would avoid digging up over 100ft of gravel driveway plus my wife's garden and half of our backyard, but Dave took it as a personal challenge! I cannot say enough good things about Cahill Excavation. Even two days after the initial issue, I haven't heard back from a single other contractor checking to see if I still needed help or even to let me know they can't help. Dave, meanwhile, was super-communicative throughout the entire process and his price was more than fair given that the job took almost twice as long as expected due to the issue with the water supply pipe. I'll definitely be using him again for some actually planned projects around the house, and I strongly recommend using Cahill Excavation to anyone who needs any sort of excavation, grading, or underground pipe repair!!!

He is consistently the best price in town but more importantly he is corteous, friendly, reliable and meticulous. He seems to make a point of over-delivering. He is the best VALUE in town. I would recommend TJ for any masonry or tile job. He had a team of people to support him with our tile job and they worked like a machine. First TJ adds value with input on stone, grout and trim. He arrives as scheduled to a) rip up our multiple layers of old flooring, b) add the appropriate height backerboard to get our tile to the proper height, c) lay tile so we could walk around our kitchen and hallway as he worked, d) grout and e) clean-up. This was no easy assignment - more than 300 sf of tiling with some crazy cuts to our flooring that stretched from our front entry foyer to our hallway and into our kitchen.
