I contacted him after, unfortunately, hiring another contractor only three months earlier who did a sloppy job and left me looking at crooked doors every day. Serge and his team came in, replaced all of them, and the workmanship was outstanding. Our project involved replacing 13 interior doors (including 3 double door closets), and because our home has non-standard door sizes, it required extensive measuring and planning. Serge took the time to carefully measure everything multiple times and even researched the best sources to find the right doors rather than taking shortcuts. He also replaced a bathroom threshold and completed a few other projects, all with the same attention to detail. Throughout the project, Serge was exceptionally communicative, professional, and reliable. His crew was hardworking, respectful, quiet, and left the house clean at the end of each day. Most importantly, the quality of the workmanship was exceptional. Serge is a true perfectionist, and it shows in every detail. The doors fit perfectly, operate smoothly, and the finished product exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for someone who takes pride in his work, communicates well, and delivers outstanding craftsmanship, I would wholeheartedly recommend Serge and his team.

Frank was a no show to give me an estimate, no communication that he was running late or unable to make it. He accommodated coming early one morning to give an estimate that seemed fair. Fast forward to when they were scheduled to do the work, 30 minutes past start time no sign of Frank's team and no communication. Contact the office find out that they won't make it today. My experience has been poor communication and unreliableness. Won't be giving them a chance to reschedule and waste anymore of my time. It was a small job so maybe not worth the effort to provide good customer service. Seeing the business's response adding this - I understand things happen and I am not expecting perfection by any means but a little bit of respect for my time and communication would have been nice.

Finally we were at the point where I could cover the studs and insulation and I am glad I didn't leave that in scope for my GC. I looked around a bit and found these guys. I don't have much to add that the other reviews haven't. Frank was communicative throughout the process from quote through execution and final invoicing. His crew got started right after we approved the work and they were onsite every day working to get the work done. He brought over a crew of like 4 or 5 guys who hung the drywall, mudded, sanded, primed and painted the ceiling of the 2 garage bays, enclosed stairwell and 500sqft bonus room with high ceiling, in like 5 days! If my GC would have been scoped to do this it would have been a 2 month process. Frank personally did a walk through with me after. Highly recommend.

The National Grid gentleman arrived in less than an hour from notification. His first question: do you have a humidifier? Answer: yes. Turns out the gas flame was being affected by the minerals in the humidifying mist changing the flame's color to orange. They were very meticulous in making sure our furniture was covered and when finished painting everything was put back as it was. Everyday they arrived promptly at 8:00AM and left at 5:00PM. Our condo was painted with two coats of paint to the walls. They also did our ceilings and trim. Also our kitchen cabinets were removed to be prepped and painted. The point at which I decided to look for a painter the ceiling looked terrible. The painter who completed our walls, who was not Adrian, referred us to a plaster specialist to complete the job. The plaster specialist came and assessed our ceiling and said, "You need a painter. However, a number of them will not take this on because there is sanding involved." I put a recommendation up on a local Facebook city group and Escalona Painting was one of the respondents. He came out to do an assessment and immediately understood what the problem was. He understood the process, explained it to me, and gave me a reasonable price. On the day of the work, his team all wore masks, which was appreciated with unvaccinated children in the house. They also did a proper job when it came to clean up when the job was finished. His team completed extremely professional work that has enhanced the value of the property. I have since hired Escalona Painting for other projects around the house and they are now my go to painters.
