I'm writing this review after many years of trusting John Perry and Associates, and I can honestly…read moresay I am deeply disappointed. This firm charges extremely high fees yet shows a complete lack of responsibility and professionalism. My sister -- whom I personally recommended to them -- waited over two years for her adjustment of status interview. When the day finally arrived, their incompetence caused her case to be postponed indefinitely. All because her medical exam had expired -- something any experienced immigration attorney should have verified and renewed in time. There is absolutely no excuse for such a careless mistake, especially from a firm that claims to have decades of experience. Even the immigration officer who was supposed to conduct my sister's interview stated that everything in her case looked fine and in order, but that due to the new government regulations, they can no longer overlook any missing or outdated document. Because of this, her interview was canceled, and now we are left waiting indefinitely. This entire situation has been extremely frustrating and stressful for my sister and our entire family. It's unacceptable that a firm entrusted with people's futures would handle such important cases so lightly. We have been loyal clients of John Perry and Associates since 1999, and I'm ashamed to have recommended them to so many people. Unfortunately, this experience has completely destroyed my trust in this law firm.

They are prompt, friendly, and do a great job. They socialize with my fiancé and I and even love on our dog. They go above and beyond and make things more manageable for us as busy young professionals. As for the company itself, they are responsive to calls and emails, are quick to let you know if a scheduling issue comes up, and the value is unbeatable for the quality of work received. I have had no issues with no-shows, even throughout the pandemic, social justice protests, weather, etc. We are moving out of LA County this week and I am honestly heartbroken that we can't continue to employ this fabulous team. We will truly miss Luisa and Jerry. Call this company for your house cleaning needs- you will not be disappointed- especially if Luisa and Jerry are your assigned team.

My experience was not up to my expectations. I reached out using Yelp's project plan feature asking…read morefor deep cleaning for a move-in and We Clean LA was the only one that was able to reply with a price estimate and availability, so thats a plus. Turnaround for booking was a day, but there was apparent miscommunication. I originally asked for a move in deep cleaning. The cleaners that arrived were told management only told them to plan 2 hours for a 'general' cleaning and told me at the time of the appointment that 2 hours wouldn't be enough to fully clean a 2bd/2bath 1100 sq ft condo. I wish this was communicated beforehand. So what did they get done in 2 hours? They took 40 minutes to clean a patio door and base of the doors. They were able to clean the entire the kitchen in the next hour. I liked that they cleaned the oven vent filters. Then spent the last 15 minutes cleaning window sills, which I ended up asking to be redone because they were in fact not cleaned when they verbally told me they had when I checked in with them. It probably would've been an additional 2 hours to get the rest of the home, which included 2 full bathrooms, and 3 closets. Ended up having to pick priorities at the time of the appointment, which again, was unexpected. Other notes: The cleaners had masks, but did not keep them on the entire duration (pulled down on chin everytime I walked in, not covering nose). Based on this alone, I would not recommend We Clean LA.

Look at Amy Vahdat's response. I believe her response tells you everything you need to know about…read morethis apathetic, irresponsible and uncaring law firm. TRUTH is not defamatory. Instead of taking accountability for continued and unwanted communications for 3 consecutive years that I view as harassments - I believe her response is aggressive, defensive, manipulative, ridiculous and highly revealing. Based on my experiences, this is another example of Amy Vahdat's DARVO responses in addition to my experience explained below. This review is what I believe to be true based on my experiences, opinions and impressions. Truth about experiences are protected by law. Retaliation and harassments, however, are ILLEGAL - especially after I have repeatedly asked to cease communications. I've been beyond clear numerous times to cease contacting me - yet V&A Law Firm has continued to contact me for 3 consecutive years on my birthdays causing continued, repeated and tremendous emotional distress. At this point, I will seek therapy due of the tremendous effect these repeated and unwanted communications have had on me. I believe Amy Vahdat has now continued what I view as DARVO even about these repeated and unwanted communications which I have direct evidence for. To reiterate: I never received birthday emails before I wrote a review. 1. I received communication through LinkedIn with certain details which I viewed as harassment within 3 hours after writing a Yelp review in 2024. 2. I sent a Cease and Desist letter to Amy Vahdat, Rodney Yashouafar, another attorney who works with them and her ex partner. 3. I further told Amy Vahdat to stop harassing me in emails after she repeatedly demanded that I remove the Yelp review. 4. Then she said to stop harassing her and her ex partner. She also falsely accused me of lying when I only stated truth and I FIRMLY stand by every single statement I've made about everyone. I also have emails, texts and witnesses to support my statements. 5. She threatened me with calling authorities and a lawsuit after I simply responded to her demanding emails and refused to remove the review. 6. Again, I asked her to stop harassing me. 7. I received a notification from a highly inappropriate website within 30 minutes after her last email notifying me that an account had been created with my personal information. 8. I was contacted 2 weeks later by V&A Law Firm wishing me a Happy Birthday for the first time even though they had never sent me one before. 9. I was beyond clear that these birthday emails were unwanted in my initial review. I even wrote a blog and reiterated how I viewed the email as unwanted communications and continued harassments. 10. Their first email did not have an unsubscribe option. I have direct proof. 11. Their second email last year had an unsubscribe option and I opted out. I have screenshots. 12. V&A Law Firm contacted me again this year with yet another unwanted birthday email communication that, in my opinion and based on my repeated experiences, appeared intended to further annoy and harass. This feels incredibly intrusive and harassing especially that I have significant injuries which they know about since they worked on my case. Original Review: I believe this is THE WORST personal injury law firm. I believe they were neglectful with my case and I had to stop working with them because of it. Additionally, based on my experiences I believe they have been harassing me year after year after I wrote a Yelp review. Amy Vahdat started harassing me in her emails demanding that I remove the review. I didn't remove the review and told her in my emails to stop harassing me. Then, in my opinion, she used DARVO in an attempt to turn tables. Additionally, V&A Law Firm started sending me unsolicited Happy Birthday emails approximately 2 weeks later even though I had made clear in to cease contact and to stop harassing me. Additionally, I noted in the review and a blog that I consider this harassment. V&A Law Firm contacted me on my birthday against my consent in 2024 at 8:00 AM on a Saturday, in 2025 at 8:01 AM on a Sunday and yet again in 2026 at 11:02 AM. I have experienced all these as highly intrusive, harassing and bullying. I believe an attorney with integrity would not keep contacting a former client especially on her birthdays against her consent. The previous review stopped showing on their main Yelp page shortly after I wrote it and this one is also not showing and doesn't reflect in their rating. It's showing under Not Recommended section. I wonder what the reason is. I'm taking legal actions due to their repeated and unwanted communications for 3 consecutive years, which based on my repeated experiences, appear intended to annoy and harass. In my view, these continued and unwanted communications specifically on my birthdays year after year are because I have simply exercised Freedom of Speech sharing my experiences with the public.

This is the second time they have represented me, which says everything about the level of trust I have in them. They represented me in my slip-and-fall case, and from beginning to end, they were absolutely amazing. They were not afraid to go up against a giant corporation and fought hard for me every step of the way. I always felt confident knowing they were in my corner. Amy and Kevin truly set the standard for what exceptional attorneys should be. Their knowledge and skill are undeniable, but what makes them stand out is how fiercely they advocate for their clients while still leading with compassion. They fought for me with strength and determination, never backing down, and at the same time, treated me with kindness, patience, and respect. Even during moments when I was overwhelmed, in pain, and not at my best, they remained understanding and supportive. They made me feel heard, valued, and protected every step of the way. What meant the most to me was how every person on the team treated me as a person. Every interaction was filled with warmth and care. They never made me feel like a burden--only supported. They kept me informed throughout the entire process, answered all of my questions, and made a very stressful situation feel manageable. I always felt supported. I am truly grateful for everything they did for me. If you are looking for a legal team that will fight for you and treat you with heart, the V&A Law Firm is the one to trust.

I had the unfortunate experience of having Mariam Zadeh as the mediator of an employment case. From…read morethe beginning, it was clear that Ms. Zadeh was in favor of the employee/employee's attorney, regardless of the evidence. We showed her tangible evidence that the employee's allegations were false or exaggerated and everything we showed her was dismissed, based on "well [employee] said this or that". We showed her postings by the employee that contradicted her allegations, yet, she believed we were the bad guy, simply by being the employer. I have been in many mediations and I have never had a mediator be so one-sided and bias. It was clear she simply wanted to settle the case. At one point, she even gave a range of 300% for settling, as her recommendation (i.e. "I can settle it between $100k to $300k). How can anyone, in good faith, negotiate with such a big range? To me, she seemed incompetent and in my opinion only cared about settling, so it does not affect her settlement statistics. I now know why the employee's attorney insisted on using Mariam Zadeh. She's clearly an employee advocate. Employers beware!
