Not only is he extremely talented, but a very warm, caring person who was genuinely liked by staff and residents. This was a very poor decision Joyce! Anyone has freedom of speech to speak about other facilities that best serve their needs when asked!! Perhaps if Edgewood stopped gouging their residents with hefty price increases, fixed the roofs, had quality food, and remodeled the VERY aging facility, your residents would want to stay! Your location has new Managers so often, it is a rotating door of chaos! I have been to your facility several times, and it is needing major reconstruction. Avamere offered the nicest outdoor experience with a walking trail, duck pond and easy access to shopping and bus lines. The interior of Avamere was also a step up! It did not have that tell tail 'older person' smell that all the other facilities had. Fresh paint and fresh carpet go a long way toward this achievement. Additionally I would like to give Cassie Delozier a shout out. She made the transition smooth from independent living for my brother to a very pleasant room that he is very happy with. She did a personal visit with my brother to make sure he would fit in, arranged to give him a personal tour of the facility and helped get us all settled in once the move happened. She made a point to introduce him to all the residents and staff on his first day and was instrumental in us choosing Avamere for my brothers forever hone. She continues to answer my periodic question about resources and general questions within the hour that they are posed, excellent customer service! Thank you Cassie! If anyone is looking into a superior senior living experience I would highly recommend Avamere at Park Place.

My family and I took a tour and were immediately impressed with the care team's friendliness, knowledge and ability to provide 24-hour skilled (and loving) care. Heritage House is located on a quiet, tree-lined street in a residential neighborhood. It's cozy and clean --full of plants and light, with a loving small dog and cat who like to check in on residents. Sadly my mom passed away a few nights ago (in her bed at Heritage House).
