We recently received an arrangement that included fruit and a birthday cake. The fruit had absolutely no flavor at all. Pieces were way past their prime. When we cut the birthday cake (which looked very nice) the dried up icing just fell off the sides of the cake, being stale. This review in no way is a criticism of the Brick location. This review IS an indictment of the entire company! I have been a loyal customer of Edible Arrangements for many years but will not be conducting business with them after my most recent purchase. My sister in law's mom passed away last week and my wife and I couldn't attend the funeral last Thursday, so I ordered a dozen chocolate covered strawberries to be delivered to my brother and his wife on Friday. I completed the order, got a confirmation that I should have printed but didn't think I would need to since usually you get a confirmation email. Sunday morning, my brother sends me a screenshot of a message from FedEx stating that due to an operational error the package wasn't being delivered. Phone calls to customer service on Sunday were unanswered. Calls to 4 different Edible Arrangements stores throughout NJ were unanswered from 9 am (when they all open) until 2 pm, when I finally got the manager of the Somers Point store, who told me that since I ordered online she couldn't help me. When I mentioned that the website says her store services my brother's area, she said "No it doesn't. I can't help you," and hung up the phone. Today I stopped into the Toms River location, where the door was locked at 1:30 because the computers were down. A phone call to the manager led me back to trying the customer service number. Like many companies, the customer service department was jobbed out to a 3rd world country. Language barriers, 7 second delays, poor connectivity led to them hanging up without attempting to fix the issue! Called again, got a girl in Atlanta (the phone number is a Connecticut number, btw) who serves the franchisees but claimed not to be able to help me. Said she would have a regional manager reach out to me at 3 pm. I'm still waiting! Customer service in this country is going to hell in a hand basket! This is an example of that. Disappointed with my gift. For my 55th birthday my daughter ordered me an arrangement. I was so excited about it because I usually get other fruit gifts from Shari's Berries and locally. I opened it up and the strawberries were not fresh and a little shriveled. Some were covered in chocolate and others weren't which is fine if they were plump and looked good. In addition to the lack of freshness they were not cleaned at all. They were dirty which made it so much worse. Driver was very friendly which is great. Just the quality of the fruit was lack luster. read more

Pricey....1/2 dozen chocolate covered strawberries were $19.99 and they were only dipped to cover half of the strawberries. This is the second time we went here for them. We had gone for Valentines Day and they made us order a dozen. They wouldn't do a 1/2 dozen for us. So we spent $39.99 without the tax. I think they are so over priced. Not worth it. read more

Never waste your time and money buying from these thieves. The arrangement was TINY! There was very little on it. The melon was hard and far from ripe. The rude person that delivered it went to the wrong address. He told me that the person that ordered this did not know my address. My wife purchased this, and I'm certain that she knows where she lives. When I gave him the correct address, he argued with me about the address. And somehow the item got smaller and the price doubled. For example, my wife was told the balloon was included, and they charged for it. A $45.00 bouquet ended up costing almost $90.00. The worst customer service I have ever received. I could not find the store so I called to get their location and the store does not answer their phone and when they finally did they kept putting me on hold as soon as they picked up. I finally found the store and when I walked in there was one customer and 2 people at the front desk and the phones ringing off the hook and no one picking them up. Ridiculous! The "manager" would not give me the name and number of the owner so I could speak with someone about the service. Instead she told me she handles all of the complaints and that's how it is!! Will never be going back to the Brick location again!!! read more

Couldn't be more disappointed. A coworker/friend had a death In the family over the weekend so our office decided to send an arrangement to her home which is 5 minutes from the Brick store. I contacted them Monday to set up delivery for the arrangement and was told that they were not accepting orders for anything other than valentines arrangements this week and we would not be able to place our order until Thursday which would be too late by then. To say I was disappointed and offended by the response I received is an understatement. I advised the store that this was bad business and was told there is nothing that could be done about it. I also told them they would lose my business over this and they didn't seemed concerned one bit. Just an FYI- Delicious Orchards has beautiful gift baskets that can be delivered the next day. Went last night for two arrangements but unfortunately was turned away at the door because they were closing early. Web site and door both listed 7 but by 6pm lights were off and clerk was leaving. While sitting in car outside trying to locate another place to shop, we saw 2 other customers attempt to get in. The clerk wandered thru another store in that mall...so apparently no emergency forced the early closure. Really inconvenient and sadly will not return. read more

This store was more than accommodating. I ordered a congratulatory fruit gift for my brother in law and sister since they recently sold their house. Unfortunately when my package was delivered no one was home so I asked the carrier to deliver it anyway at the door. By the time my sister got to it, a raccoon had eaten all of the fruit and the card and balloon had floated away. So sad that they couldn't enjoy their gift, I emailed the store and a day later they offered to deliver a new one. I am so grateful !!! Would definitely order from them again! read more

My daughter has been wanting an arrangement for a while. Wanted to surprise her for her birthday. Well it was a surprise because my order was not ready and I requested no pineapples and of course there were pineapples. My husband picked up the order and was not aware of the no pineapple request. When I finally spoke with the manager of the store, she was sorry to hear I was disappointed, but offered nothing to make up for it. A few chocolate covered strawberries would have been a nice gesture. Fruit was a little dry, too. Not worth the money! read more
