i ordered an arrangement for my boyfriend's birthday. i placed the delivery online, and it was meant to be a surprise so i had it delivered to our apartment while we were both at work so it would already be there when we got off, so i called the store to ask for it be be left with our roommate, they answered the phone pretty quickly & passed that info along to the driver. it arrived within the expected delivery time & date. it wasn't as appealing as it looked in the online photos, the arrangement was shorter than pictured and the cupcakes were melty looking, but my boyfriend loved it & said the cupcakes were super delicious. i also tried a few bites of the cupcakes and they were actually pretty yummy. however, for the aesthetic appeal, i don't think they lived up to their $145 price; was cute, but not $145 cute. but other than that, everything went smoothly & they were delicious so it wasn't all too bad but i'd definitely consider choosing a home/independent baker next time for more professional looking desserts. read more

I've never been this disappointed before in life. I always order from Edible Arrangements in different states. Never had I ordered from 3000 Zelda Rd. Montgomery, AL 36106! I ordered online a week before the delivery date I specifically for a birthday arrangement. I went over and beyond! I even called to check that they had everything that I ordered correct! Now fast forward to the day of delivery! They called that morning to say that it was something they didn't have! Ok I can deal with that, but the delivery was late to the business inquired. They had close for the day at 4:30! So there goes the experience that was supposed to be had!!! My daughter had to drive back to her job to receive her surprise that was no longer a surprise. The flowers look so cheap and shabby! I paid extra for vase, and they were wrapped in plastic! My experience was horrible. And ALL KNOW THEY ARE NOT CHEAP TO ORDER!!! read more

Michelle is a godsend!!! I called this store today around 2:00pm in hopes of a special same day rush order for a friend doing a show in Alabama. I had called every single florist in the area who told me they were unable to help. Michelle helped me pick out the most perfect gift for my friend that arrived to the theatre within 2 hours -- delicious chocolate covered strawberries and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I am so grateful to her, and so is my friend, who was so happy and surprised to receive her gift. Thank you Michelle and Edible Arrangements for making such a beautiful surprise possible! read more

Pricey but worth it. My husband often gets me an order from here for our anniversary. This year he switched it up and got me one for my birthday. It was yummy as usual. I mean who doesn't love fruit smothered in chocolate? Lol read more

Placed an order for something and the store changed the order and when I called them they said that they were on a limited menu of products due to mothered day. If that is the case then they should call the person to let them know that they are changing the order and let us decide if we want to cancel the order or keep the replacement item that they are sending out. It is not the customers fault that the store is small or short staffed if that's the case then have corporate remove items off the web site or put a disclaimer or flag saying limited items or may substitute items with something completely different then what you ordered due to a holiday or special event. read more

Last year for Mother's Day I saw a design that had some pineapple cut out that spelled "MOM". As this was Mother's Day, this was an important part of me wanting that item. When I arrived in ample time to pick it up, it was a lot of people coming in. And the woman possibly in her 50's with shorter hair who appeared to be the manager was taking calls and seeming to be frustrated. As people were coming in she was abruptly telling them they weren't taking any more orders and saying it on the phone sounding kind of annoyed. Another worker handed me my order and I left out of the store. The fruit bowl looked nice so I'm not saying it was bad but as I was leaving I realized it didn't have the "Mom" part. I went back in and explained this and the manager said "yeah that's why we added something else". I didn't understand because they were aware of it but chose to add what they wanted to. The only reason I could see was it took extra time to carve "MOM". I politely explained I really wanted that and a worker said "okay let me go back and see". The manager then says loudly "Next year I will not be working on Mother's Day!". I asked her if it was some kind of problem because I was confused. She just said it was a lot going on. But I felt that was towards me when all I did was ask for something I ordered. Within one minute the fruit was carved and placed in my basket which means they just didn't feel like doing it. I've gone here before and it was good. Except one time an issue before with an extremely late order that I never wrote a review on. But as I was thinking about getting something for Mother's Day and my experience last year I decided not to and decided to write this review. The fruit was great. The design was cool. So that's why my writing isn't just awful. But that day the customer service wasn't. I understand stressful situations, but I wasn't being belligerent and expected a little better response to my request. read more

I didn't even get to make my first purchase with this Edible Arrangements before they started causing issues. I see why they are rated so poorly here in Montgomery. I informed them I would be on my way to purchase something they already had pre-made and I would be there before closing due to having to drive roughly 30 mins to get there. I arrive at 10 mins before closing and their door was already locked. The employee just continued on with what they were doing and ignored me as if locking a door 10 mins early is perfectly acceptable knowing that a customer was driving out of their way to pick up a pre-made item. It wasn't even like I rush ordered something custom. You will def never get my business or a good recommendation from me. read more

Worst experience ever ordered a Mother's Day gift for my mom and spent 150 on a nice arrangement during the day it started to get late so I called them at 5 pm they insured me they were busy and it would be delivered called a second time at 8 because it still hasn't been delivered was assured once again don't worry they will de delivering up to 10 pm and my gift would be delivered called a 3rd time closer to 10 no answer called the next morning and was given a sorry apology with no explanation why it wasn't delivered after calling some many times the day before. My moms day was ruined and had her waiting up all night for a delivery that they couldn't even attempt to call and say we're not going to be able to make the delivery. This location of Edible Arrangements is exactly why YELP really needs a ZERO STAR option. This is one of the worst customer service experiences that I've ever had. The employees are disorganized and Jeremy, the store manager, is the most unprofessional of the group. I went in on Mother's Day to pick up an order my brother made on Saturday. After waiting 15 minutes, I overheard the employees discussing why the order wasn't ready. It would have been helpful if someone also explained to me, but no such luck. I stood in the small waiting area trying to stay out of the way of other customers, while employee and employee asked me if I'd been helped, if I placed a large order, or how long I had been waiting. I took several pictures of one customer with her order, I spoke to another customer about his last minute order for his mother, finally my aunt, who had been waiting in the car, came in to see what was taking me so long. One of the employees, Angel, explained to her as to why the order wasn't ready. She did say it was their fault and finally apologized. If the order was mine, I definitely would have asked a refund and left, but since I was picking up the order for my brother who was out of town for Mother's Day, I was forced to stay and watch the circus lead by an incompetent, uncourteous, unapologetic store manager. After at least another 15 minutes, the order finally came out. A friend of the store manager's, who made it clear that she did not work there, told him that he should at least give me a balloon with the order, he ignored her. A quick errand for my brother turned into an example of what happens when there is only one location in a city and the business clearly doesn't care about providing good customer service. Here's my advice to Edible Arrangements, please fire Jeremy, and hire his friend to replace him. read more

just now Edible Arrangements in Montgomery on Zelda just blew my mind. I had tried to order online and the fruit basket that I wanted wasn't available for the zip in Wetumpka that I needed it sent to. So I called this store and talked to Julissa. I had just found out that a very close friend, like family, had just started with hospice. I am in NJ and needed her to have something from me right away and it needed to be this. Julissa was so kind and compassionate about the situation. When she entered the address, it showed that it would be an extra delivery charge but her manager approved it without the extra charge. So this arrangement wasn't even available for that zip and they made it happen. Not only that, but I had mentioned to her in the beginning of the conversation that I had wished she could have one with some chocolate covered pieces but would take any assortment that we could get to that house. She allowed me to add chocolate covered strawberries. I am blown away with the customer service that I received from them. Word can not express enough, my gratitude for this company, Julissa, and her manager. They are top notch for sure. read more

This store deserves ZERO STARS! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I was proactive and placed an order to be delivered on Valentine's Day on Feb 9, 2019. The delivery was never sent out and I was not notified of this - I had to call the person I was sending them to and ask if they had received my gift. I called the store and they were nonchalant about it saying they'd get it out when they could. After THREE DAYS of me calling and checking and sometimes no one even picking up at the store I was finally able to reach someone. I asked to cancel the order and told them about the issue and again as NONCHALANT as can be they said "ok if you want to cancel that's fine". Not even an apology for the inconvenience. Based on the ratings and LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE this store should not stay in business. Completely HORRIBLE experience for Valentine's Day. read more

Worst experience ever!!!!! Called to check on an order gave me a time and never showed, I called back and was told that they are not able to grantee times if its not a business or school... Well guess what I am at a business so as I asked the young lady what's the excuse now? I was then placed on hold and told it was in route but they didn't know where the driver was maybe traffic was slowing him down... remind you this was a whole 40 minutes after I called the first time and was given a time of 35 minutes by someone yelling in the back ground to the person I was on the phone with.
