Both times, no deliver, no call, no explanation. First time,, owner gave me a discount and delivered a day late. This time I got a refund. BIG WHOOP. Never EVER again. Never delivered my gift this is my first Mother's Day and my husband was disappointed he called corporate and they tried to contact the store nothing my husband said fine I'll go to the store to get it myself it was 5 pm and guess what the store was closed we are in front of the store they basically took my husband money my husband specifically left a note on order that the order was suppose to be placed in the back door no delivery was made and no phone call was made to reach my husband not even an apology hey we can't make it whatever total disregard for someone's special day and hard earned money this store better give my husband a full refund he even paid extra to make today and nothing ! Don't offer services that you can't even do ! if you take someone's money for fast shipping and you don't deliver it's theft ! Makes so sense the whole premise of your company/ job is to deliver goods that make people happy and on time and you guys can't even manage that. I ordered an arrangement for my mother for Mother's Day three days before the holiday from Edible Arrangements 418, 3600 East Landis Ave Vineland NJ. She did not receive it. I was never notified that it was not received. I called the location this morning 9am CST 10am EST and was rudely told that her arrangements was one of five that was not delivered because the driver was out until 9pm. If my item was one of five not delivered on time I should have received a call once the location opened which i did not. Your "certified happiness" Commitment has not been fulfilled with this location. Edible Arrangements in Vineland, NJ is a horrible place to deal with. I went in to order an arrangement. The girl at the front desk said she was a trainee, so I didn't mind if she had to ask a lot of questions, but she was so stupid. Even though I had the name and address written down where I wanted it to go, she still wrote down everything wrong. It took over a half hour for her to get the order right. Then the delivery man took it to the wrong house, because the girl still wrote the address down wrong again! I paid almost $65 and the arrangement did not look much like the picture of the one that I had picked out. The whole place seemed like a front of maybe drug deals going on in the back with shady looking people just walking in and going in the back. It was the worse customer service I have ever had and I will never, ever use them again! read more

I placed a last min order at 8:45am. The delivery was around 1pm, perfect timing and delicious! I called to substitute a balloon instead of the bear that I originally chose and it was no issue! Very pleased! read more

Terrible experience this weekend for Father's Day. Not only was my arrangement not delivered on Saturday as scheduled, but when I called to inquire, the person I spoke with was rude and tried to gaslight me saying that they were there and no one opened the door or picked up the phone when they "called" (they did not - I have my call history). The manager that was on duty also said she would call me near 3pm yesterday to see if they could attempt a redelivery or not and I received no call. I wish I would have checked Yelp or FB about this location because their level of service, or lack thereof is apparent in their reviews. For everyone else who experienced equally terrible service from the Vineland location, call their corporate customer care number 1 (203) 774-5357, because their manager has difficulty with customer interactions. I contacted them through that number and apparently the owner of the Vineland franchise is supposed to contact me, but, we will see since communication has not been a strong suit. What a deep disappointment - I will absolutely not use Edible in the future for personal or business use. read more

At 3:30pm I ordered on the website which had a big flashing banner stating I had 2 hours and 20 minutes to order and still get Same Day Delivery. The process was seamless which was great. A few minutes after processing my order I received a call letting me know their driver was already at the hospital twice today and they weren't sure if they could get her back there again today but they would be able to deliver tomorrow. I explained I wasn't sure if my family member would still be there tomorrow and that the website says I could still receive same day delivery and they close at 7pm. She stayed they close at 7pm but stop delivery at 5pm and they weren't even sure if they had enough time to make the arrangement. Ok, so which is it, you don't have a driver or you don't have time to make the arrangement? Order cancelled. read more

I have a good friend who has been battling breast cancer and other issues. This arrangement was supposed to convey how much she means to me and my well wishes for her to get better. This arrangement did not deliver that message. I purchased the largest one (see below) with 2 balloons. The second picture shows what she actually received. The fruit was only a third of what I ordered and there were NO balloons. I called and spoke to Vanessa who acted as if a $20 credit should appease me and when I told her I would rather they resend the exact one I ordered and that the cost is not the issue. She said there was nothing else she can do for me but she would have the owner call me directly. This was three weeks ago and no one has called me. read more

I have a love-hate relationship with this place. I love the idea of the store. The thing is, the products are even more expensive than flowers are. That's not right. It's fruit that has been cut into a shape. My mother has a kit to do it herself. Furthermore, they are not equipped for volume. Obviously, Valentine's Day is going to be a busy day. The day before (today) they would not make an arrangement and would not make one tomorrow either. That's a good way to kill business. BUY FLOWERS INSTEAD! Way over priced for what you get. Daughter bought an arrangement was more like fruit in a cup for $35.00 Plus she wanted 3 balloons which was an extra $13.00! I could have bought them at the dollar store for $3! She specifically told them she would pick them up at 1. We arrived 5 minutes early. Older woman came out and said we were 20 minutes early. Um, can't tell time? It's 1:55 for petes sake! No reason given - just it wasn't ready and to come back 1/2 hour.! No apology or anything. So we had to hang out in the parking lot until they prepared our arrangement. This order was placed days ago. People are very unfriendly. I would never deal with this place again. read more

This is quite possibly the worst service I have ever been provided. Apparently it doesn't matter when you order because whether it's same day or you order ahead of time, they commingle the orders resulting in a very late order. If I select "This is going to a business" three days ahead of time, one might suspect it would arrive at sooner than 4:15 on the desired day. Not the case. When I filed a complaint with Corporate, I receive a call from someone from the local store who wanted nothing to hear about why I was dissatisfied and tell me that they were swamped because of the holiday season. When asked what holiday, I was told Mother's day which is currently 9 days away. I'd like to start out by saying Ive used this company for MANY fruit baskets for several occasions in the past and truly enjoyed it. This morning I received the news of my good friend's mother passing and ordered an arrangement for him first thing with my coworker. He never received it so I checked the email we used and there was an email saying it was "undeliverable", which makes no sense because the address was correct, I checked it several times. It was also explained that the phone number we gave would be contacted if there was an issue, which was my friend's number, but no one ever called him. I called this store SEVERAL times and it went to the voicemail every time, even though the store was open for another hour. At one point, someone picked up the phone TWICE and hung up on me. The machine wouldn't even allow me to leave a voicemail. I am hoping that I will be able to reach someone first thing in the morning to have them send him out a fresh fruit basket. Otherwise I will be asking for my money back and seeking out a new company who does something similar to this. I'm extremely disappointed. read more

Shouldn't even be a full star. First, I get a call that there is no delivery van today, so the person receiving the surprise had to go out of her way to pick up the item herself. Then, I ask if there is a discount for the inconvenience. The reply..."yes, there will be no delivery fee." Well duh, because you didn't deliver. That's not a discount, that's common sense. Then, the three balloons that were supposed to come with it didn't. No mention of that on the phone call. Got a bear instead. If I wanted a bear, I would have purchased that option. Complete fail. Terrible overall experience. I spent 140 on an arrangement for my Moms birthday. I expected that after spending that kind of money on fruit and balloons, I'd experience some semblance of professionalism. I was wrong. I had it delivered to my moms house on the day of her birthday as I knew she would be home for the majority of the day. After not hearing anything from her about receiving her arrangement, I called the Vineland store to figure out what was going on. The store was useless. They didn't know when it would get there just that they guarantee it by 9pm. Awesome. She'll get it well after the thought of her birthday has passed. My moms in bed by 8 and certainly not in any mood to answer the door to some stranger after sunset. After 7 pm and no delivery I call the store. They're closed at this point. Thanks for the heads up. I call corporate. They can't get in contact with anybody of relevance; all they know is that as of 7:30 it's in transit. So I tell them if it's not there by 8pm, I'm telling my mom to refuse service and I would cancel it. I call the corporate office at 8:05 and draft a formal complaint. I officially cancel my order and end the conversation with corporate. They tell me I'll hear from them within 48 hours. Cool. As soon as get off the phone with them, my mom calls me and tells me she was laying in bed at 8:15(as I predicted) and she was startled by someone honking their horn in her front yard. She gets out of bed and pokes her head out the front door to see it's the delivery driver honking her horn instead of knocking on the door like a professional would do. The delivery driver thought it was a good idea to honk their horn to get my mothers attention(meanwhile she's in bed and this arrangement is an afterthought) at 8:15 pm in a residential neighborhood. She got her arrangement. It was ridiculously late, I was jerked around the entire time, and I'm very unsatisfied with the whole situation. I've used this Edible Arrangements location before and have had good experiences. Unless corporate does something to correct this, I will not be doing business with Edible Arrangements in the future. read more

This store and corporate is a fraud. they deliver substandard fruit with horrible service. If you intend to Order from the corporate website remember the corporate site will not back up the satisfaction guaranteed promise but will give you nothing but a runaround. After they deliver defective stale fruit they require you to save it for them so that they can inspect it. so you send a fruit to aperson recovering from surgery and the morons at this store expect you to save the fruit so they can argue about the legitimacy of your claim. Do not spend your money on this outrageously overpriced fruit basket, they product is horrible and substandard and the service non existent. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE! I ordered an arrangement for my grandmother - I've ordered before and she was very happy. But THIS TIME, only about 25% of what I ordered was delivered - there was a missing box of dipped fruit and a missing balloon and card - and she said it looked like a bunch of sticks with some fruit stuck on top. Since we ordered a Large and it cost $80, we think she should have gotten more. We called the store to ask that they sent the missing box of dipped fruit and balloon and the manager started to scream at me! Eventually promised to deliver the missing box and balloon and then never did. We called a second time and they told me to have my grandmother drive over and show them the flawed arrangement - she can barely drive and, for gods-sake they messed up her birthday. My mother finally called corporate and filed a complaint for me. If the order is not remedied, we're going to file for disputed charges with my credit card company. read more

Was not pleased at all with the service I received. The arrangement I ordered on 2/11/2011 for my wife, to arrive on Valentine's Day, did not arrive until almost 9pm - long after she had already left for work. I called the store at 4pm and offered to pick up the arrangement because it had not arrived, and I was told I could not because it was already out for delivery. On top of spending way too much money, the balloon that was to be included was missing. Delivery person was rude and claimed they knew nothing about it. Also, delivery person arrived in a compact car, making it very hard for me to believe that when I called at 4pm that she was driving around for 5+ hours making deliveries without having to stop back at the store. Which in the end means that when I called I should've been able to pick up my order and be refunded the $15 delivery charge for them to take ALL day to deliver my order a few miles down the street, while my wife was at work. This was my first, and last order, from edible arrangements. read more
