These are definitely the nicest apartments that you will find in MN. We even searched the more…read moreexpensive ones in the city, but these are by far the nicest. I am not entirely a fan, but I'm not unhappy. I will list my pros and cons of why.... Apartments: pro: open concept, easy to keep clean, granite counter-tops con: very cheaply constructed, the kitchen island is so tall that it become not useful space. The kitchen sink does not have a hand held sprayer. Office: pro: the office ladies are pretty helpful, they seem to legitimately care about your well being. con: maint doesn't seem to happen very quickly. Pool: pro: this apartment has a pool, (I guess this isn't too common in mn) con: it is extremely small, very little lounging, pool is not always clean Grills: pro: there are two grills in the pool area con: they are not well kept. the igniters do not work on either grill. There initially was this really nice cast iron food press that went along with the grills, but some really lazy individual left it laying on the ground, and now it is rusted and unusable. Gym: pro: the gym is open all the time. It has this awesome little area to do workout videos, and they have provided tons of videos. I literally use it everyday. con: the floor is always dirty, the treadmills are not balanced so they rock back and forth as you run. People don't clean up after themselves. Parking: Pro: not assigned parking! you can park anywhere con: parking is horrible on friday and saturday nights. You literally cannot find parking. (very frustrating for people who actually live here) overall cleanliness: pro: the mail room has a shredder. (great idea) con: I found dog poop in the hall the first month I lived here. I always find trash in the parking lot (like entire fast food bags and soda cups) Peacefulness: pro: your on the lake, close to awesome trails con: teenagers live here with subwoofers in their cars. My neighbors that live above me sometimes sound like they are going to fall through the ceiling. Sometimes my lights even flicker because of them

Darren was a terrible agent to deal with as a buyer, so much so that we reached out to another agent to act on our behalf. Darren was extremely difficult to work with over the course of the purchase, he did not respond to many of our contact attempts for days, gave us incomplete answers, and was fairly unprofessional throughout the process. Things were so bad that our lender called me one day and asked if there was anyone else that they could work with to get necessary info, stating that "in their 20+ years as a mortgage broker, Darren was the rudest and most unprofessional real estate agent they have ever dealt with, by far." The only positive to having Darren represent the buyer was that the price of the condo we bought had to be lowered multiple times throughout the selling process, likely because he was so difficult to work with. Do not, not, not use this agency or agent for your real estate transaction!

Short walk to golf course, Lake Phalen, and pretty walking paths. Floorplans have lots of closet space and windows, especially in the corner units. Current office staff are there 2 or 3 days a week and are friendly, professional, and helpful. It's a nice place to live that isn't $2K a month like the going trend for all the new buildings.
