I've witnessed Teachers being rude to both staff and children. This does not set a good example for the students.

My son started day care this past January and it was a big adjustment as he had been home full time until then. Shortly after he had another big change as his grandfather passed away. Ms. Jai, his teachers and the Celebree administration (Ms. Tiffany, Ms. Maya and Mr. Brandon) have been extremely kind, welcoming, patient and supportive with my son and our family as he acclimates to day care and through some very difficult life changes. We greatly appreciate our son's "home away from home" and the community and support we have found at Celebree Severna Park. Thank you Ms. Jai and Celebree!

High Risk Factors: Staffing Chaos: Teacher turnover is extremely high, creating instability in the classrooms. Safety Neglect: Supervision is poor. Children are frequently fighting and coming home with unexplained scratches and bruises. Leadership chooses to ignore these critical safety issues. Fake Reviews: Be cautious of the high ratings. Many 5-star reviews (including my original one) were solicited with "Parents Night Out" bribes by their management. The current operation does not reflect those ratings. My advice is simple: Save yourself the stress and find childcare elsewhere. The safety standards here are unacceptable.

There have been bumps, challenges and big changes along the way, and obviously we went thru COVID, but in the end the full St Martin's Community is rich with love, care, and passion focused on building kids with character that can go out into the world and make it better. There is every kind of sports and activity you can imagine (they are always working to come up with new options) & it's very inclusive...for kids of all skill levels that want to have fun. The school is rigorous but not cut throat. The kids are pushed but aren't stressed 24/7. At Smes your kids is in a community that lets them be a kid and stumble and grow. I grew up in public school (which I loved!) but having seen one of our kids go thru a K-8th independent school education (and one not) there is a noticeable difference in their confidence and readiness to jump into high school!

For a school that professes a caring, God centered community, the values do not match the actions, leaving much to be desired from this learning environment. There are teachers who demonstrate professionalism but the average middle school social drama is at a toxic level and you can tell that admin doesn't know how to keep up. Girls in middle school are even teasing a teacher who had their name changed due to a divorce.

All summer classes are held at Wee Lad, and our girls had wonderful experiences the past two summers. The school has a huge, fenced backyard playground, and the classes make excellent use of it, weather permitting. My older daughter now attends the pre-K during the regular school year, and has continued to take huge strides in early learning. The teachers keep the lessons fun. The staff and team work with families to offer schedules that seem to be more flexible than the other schools that I considered before choosing Wee Lad. The school has been excellent to work with in regards to food allergies and maintaining the safety of my child.

The owner Lisa is always available and helpful, the director Laurie always does a top notch job and the teachers are wonderful. All are caring and compassionate and have a real passion for early development and learning. Our kids have been very prepared for the rigorous private school they have gone into after graduation. We will miss Wee Lad and A Child's Garden and we shall always remember with fondness the good times and superb education my kids had there. One of the few things I recommend without reservation.
