My daughter had a speech delay, and the patience, support, and encouragement she received there helped her so so much. They don't just focus on academics or rigid schedules; they teach kindness, social skills, and everyday life lessons that are just as important as ABCs and 123s at this stage. More than anything, the kids are genuinely *LOVED* - and that makes all the difference. As a working parent, I truly could not have had my career without the trust and peace of mind that Learning Tree provided. They are very reasonably priced, and the new (in 2025) owners and management of the building are just as wonderful as the teachers - professional, kind, and supportive. In 2025 they did a ton of renovations with all brand new floors, classroom toys & supplies, and a brand new outdoor playground with a new fence. Payment is simple and stress-free through their online portal, and the app they use makes communication effortless. Getting pictures and videos throughout the day was such a gift...it warmed my heart to see my kids smiling, playing, and learning in real time. They use a key fob system to enter the building and you have to go through multiple check-points, it is very safe. Before finding Learning Tree, we tried other daycare options in Annapolis that felt cold, too strict, and more like a prison for toddlers than a nurturing environment. Ms Amanda is the new director and we love how she'd rather build the center back up slowly, even if it means keeping a few classrooms closed until she can find quality teachers, rather than rush to fill rooms with warm bodies. They're really trying to restore kindercare to its previous glory. And the 2s teachers Ms Heather and Ms Chelsea are fantastic. The issues my 2 yo was having at the other center have improved significantly and these teachers have really partnered with us to help her. But it's also clear they see and care about her as an individual. We couldn't ask for better teachers who understand this tough age and love and care about the kids like their own. She receives quality instruction in a nurturing environment and has even been branching out and trying new foods thanks to their provided lunches! For a little more money than we were paying at our previous center (where only snacks were provided and most were just processed carbs), now she gets breakfast, lunch and snack provided, with a lot of variety and they actually cook stuff on site. The sad part is when a person have to work they have to deal with the consequences of dealing with terrible daycare facilities. First off the cook at this establishment is very nasty and unclean. His clothes are very dirty and smells bad and he walks around touching food and doorknobs with his bare hands. A typical breakfast there would be a single cup of yogurt, or a blue berry muffin, or simply just a plain waffle. They don't feed the kids a real breakfast and it's high in sugar. My child was brought food and on his last day there they remembered he couldn't eat their food but didn't get him his snack until 20 mins after giving the other kids gold fish. It was heart breaking watching my child cryin to the adults for food and attempting to grab the kids goldfish. Not to mention one of the staff members stood next to them on his phone the whole time. I told them and even provided a doctors note that my child isn't allowed to have milk but they actually poured him milk on serval occasions after being reminded and he was even able to get other kids cup of milk. They say they do family style dining but they don't sit with them while they eat so if your child has a deadly allergy to any food do not and I repeat DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!!
