So, like I said before, I came in for a job to get a physical, skin test, and drug test and the service was stellar. Every nurse was SO sweet and helpful, especially considering I didn't know what to do. Both the doctor and the nurse explained each test they ran and went through all the procedures thoroughly for me. I felt like I was being taken care of rather than pushed through like most clinics I've been to. Also, the office is very clean but a little old. It's not state of the art or anything. It's located at the JFK Hospital but it's tucked away into the woods in the back. It's in Parking lot G, but there is no sign for G. Instead, follow H (leads you into "Family Practice"), which will take you to Occupational Health Services. I had to drive 30 minutes to this place so I'm glad it was worthwhile.

I then returned a week later and even thought I told him I was still in pain, he sent me back to work and told me that the pain was all in my head. The day I went back to work I couldn't take the pain and my company sent me back to them. There the same doctor told me that i was fine and it was all in my head and that he did not want to do an MRI because if he found something they would have to treat it.(hmm) I then went to my primary doctor who sent me for an MRI and it showed that I had a partial thickness rotator cuff tear and an impigment on my shoulder. Went back to the doctor and he told me that it is normal to have rotator cuff tears as we age (I am 27). I then asked to speak to the chief who then sent me to an Orthopedic. I've been coming to Occupational Health every month for one year for this injury and every time i come it takes 3 to 4 hours of my day.

We met with a "specialist" who seemed like more of a sales person. She immediately recommended a helmet for my baby and tried to "relate" by telling me that both of her kids wore helmets. She then went on to talk about how her neighbors kid who is 7 now didn't get a helmet and how her flat head is still noticeable to this day. We felt very uncomfortable throughout the visit. After I asked multiple medial questions and about the data supporting helmets, the specialist realized we weren't falling to her sales pitch. She suddenly had to go and said she would follow up on my questions. She never did. We ended up making an appointment at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and met with an actual specialist. They said our baby did not need a helmet. I would not recommend this place as they caused many sleepless nights for my wife and I. I would recommend seeing a true specialist at a children's hospital to have your baby properly evaluated.

Went for Pulmonary Rehab and not once did I meet with a respiratory therapist, how can you do…read morepulmonary Rehab without an RT on staff. In fact I never meet with any physical therapist of any kind. It consisted of rotating between 4 exercise machines while a cardiac nurse sat at a desk monitoring everyone's O2 and heart rate. There was no stretching, no strength, no breathing exercises, no guidance at all. Education was a joke. Pulmonary Rehab is too important, don't waste your time here.

It's now been 1.5 years since this happened and my nerve still has not healed, I have gone to several neurologists, hand surgeons, EMG tests,etc...and there is nothing that can be done. Every time i move my finger or touch anything with my hand i feel pain/numbness/hypersensitivity. It bothers me everyday constantly, and i will have to live like this for the rest of my life!!! This injury has caused me so much depression, I feel like my life has turned into a nightmare i can't wake up from all because I trusted this negligent and careless person. I would pay or do anything to undo the damage this place has inflicted upon me. If you are going to have acupuncture done please research the establishment and the practitioners. Having someone who doesn't know what they are doing can cause severe and permanent injury.
