While their promotional imagery presents a polished facade, the reality within those walls is downright dreadful. Mrs. Casariego, the principal, does absolutely nothing but smirk for the cameras, peddling the blatant lie that this is an excellent academy. She squanders resources upgrading her own lavish office while remaining willfully blind to her atrocious faculty. This establishment desperately requires a complete purge of both its leadership and teaching staff. In fact, the notoriously abrasive Mrs. Torres was rightfully terminated by the school board because she was a walking catastrophe. Furthermore, the educators here do not teach; they simply spoon-feed the students. Mr. Terron, my son's math teacher, habitually plastered the answer keys directly on the board because he lacks the competence to actually instruct. My children pay excellent attention and earn straight A's in every other subject, yet math yielded an F solely due to this wretched instruction. My son was an advanced honor roll student at his previous school, but this place tanked his record and cost him his accolades. To make matters worse, the music teacher, Ms. Natasha, treated my daughter with pure hostility. The staff only dropped their fake acts and confessed to the school's internal rot during the summer when I announced our departure. My children used to pile into the car looking utterly miserable every single day, and their joy only returned the moment I pulled them out of that environment. To top it all off, the physical facility itself is utterly filthy. Watch how quickly the administration scrambles to delete this review, simply because they cannot handle the unvarnished, disgraceful truth.

You think the kids…read moreare extremely smart and doing well until you ask them to explain how to solve the homework they bring home. When doing homework, they are lost on how to do the work. When asked, they say the teacher just gives them the answer without explaining how to do it. Many parents have noticed the same thing in all grade levels not one specific grade or teacher. It is clear the students are struggling, and there is a real problem. Parents have spoken among themselves and agree this is a repeated issue. I do not believe the problem is that it's a religious school, the real issue is that the teachers do not know how to teach and choose not to or are not qualified. All of the students are behind academically, and it's hard to realize at first, because on paper their grades look perfect but in reality, they are struggling and its just a made up grade. I would put 0 stars if I could. I am happy to say I have saved my child from the school by removing them but now comes the real work to make up for all the time of learning lost here.

Ok,so this is the second year my kid is in this school. When…read morewe we're looking for a preschool for our toddler we initially wanted a Montessori as it was highly recommended by few friends.Anyway the school was already booked for the next year. We did a tour and liked a school, and we were pretty satisfied with a year our two year old completed here. We decided to continue, but this year is a different story. Actually a friend of mine whose kid was in different class, pulled her kid before this school year, pointing out that school has some issues. I don't know if that's because the director changed or the school run out of money, but activities became so limited. Most of the days kids just doing coloring and painting, not much of diverse materials are used even though you pay for it.Last year was much better regarding this.Curriculum missing some creativity. This year there have been zero field trips even though they were promised. Instead of taking kids to a museum tour as a field trip, they invite you(it's optional activity)to bring your kids on the weekend for a museum tour and charge you like 60$ per ticket.Ridiculous. Christmas party that was planned for a while was basically a bounce house. Other important thing, they are short on staff. The pictures of daily kids activities are posted on the app not very often. For that I don't blame the teacher(my kid teacher is great by the way, knowledgeable, passionate and caring and we really like her),but she is by herself most of the times so obviously can't do everything. On the good note, the school is very clean, super safe, everyone is friendly, the atmosphere is great, front desk ladies are amazing, very communicative and always there for any questions, ready to help you out with a smile. My kid's teacher is amazing as well, she pours all of her heart in care for the children. So to conclude they should invest more (financially and academically)to make a better experience for the children.

This had been the first time my son would be away from us (he's 4 yrs old) and the transition was marvelous. He loved going to school everyday. He made great friends and in a short period of time (5 months) he's learned so much, it's unbelievable to me! Unfortunately we are moving to another city and honestly, the saddest part for me has been withdrawing my son from BIA. I love how involved parents can be (I sure was!) and the learning environment is fantastic. My son and I have nothing but great memories to take with us from BIA and can only hope that his next preschool is remotely close to how awesome BIA is. Thank you so much BIA for absolutely everything! I will recommend them always!

She always keeps me up to date with his progress and any issues. She is easy to talk to and every time I have had a question regarding my sons grade, hw or behavior she takes the time to answer my question at the door entrance and doesn't make me request a conference. In the beginning of the school year he had a little issue with his tummy and she always accommodated him and made him feel comfortable. We also don't celebrate many holidays and she was always very respectful about our belief's and never made my child feel odd or singled out. My son loves her! From the beginning of the school year up until now I saw a major improvement in his reading skills in both English and Spanish. If your child starts kinder here I hope you get her as a teacher-her class even had the most students win the reading trophy at the end of the school year!

My friend was offered a teaching position, completed all onboarding paperwork, signed a one-year contract, and had already begun preparing for the school year. A full month went by with everything moving forward--only for her to receive a sudden phone call informing her that the position was no longer hers. Why? Because a former teacher, who had initially said she would not return after maternity leave, had changed her mind. This is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of integrity and professionalism. To onboard someone, have them sign a contract, and then revoke that offer due to indecisiveness on the school's part is not only disorganized but incredibly disrespectful to educators who are committed to making a difference. If this is how they treat their staff before the school year even begins, I can only imagine the instability it creates for the students and families who rely on consistency. Proceed with caution--both as a parent and as a potential employee.
