Captain Crawford made sure we saw dolphins feeding and many beautiful natural and historic sites. A main highlight was seeing the Shell Circle left so many years ago by the native people of the area. It is tragic that it is all too rapidly falling into the water now. So it was an especially important sight. I would like to thank him for creating such a wonderful experience for us all. This bait and tackle store serves the folks on Edisto Island. They sell a wide assortment of bait…read moreand fishing tackle. I bought a pack of frozen mullet minnows and some swivels. They also sell state fishing licenses and book fishing tours for a local charter boat company. This store is located across the street from the brackish lagoons and the golf course. Anyone fishing on Edisto Island will shop here sooner than later as this is the only bait and tackle on the island. Nice folks working here and helping folks.

Our unit looks great, it's in the Marsh Point area and is in great shape. A 1 bedroom unit with a washer and dryer, king size bed and BR with a tub. Parking right outside. We have an indoor pool right across from the unit. Good location, we can walk down yacht club road to the inlet area where the dolphins swim. We took a ride to the beach access for Wyndham and it looks great too. Hope to Enjoy our time here.

Didn't know you couldn't edit a review... but makes sense…read more Stayed here for 5 days. They provided us with an itinerary of what Wyndham has going on in the week when we checked in. City was amazing. Very well kept, clean and there are multiple places to access the beach. Some are only for golf cart parking. Our place that we stayed was very pretty. Let in lots of light as they had a sun roof. Not sure if that was part of the reason why the place didn't get cool. Also there were high ceilings. The coolest it got was 74 at night even thought the a/c was set to 60. It never really felt cool. The sink in the main bedroom was backed up and never cleared. The shower was very skinny. It was a 2.5x2.5 area. The shower head never really pointed down so if your short like me. It was hard to wash your body without being in the water. In the kitchen, the set up was nice but there was an air vent right at the feet of the sink. So as you washed dishes, you either stood on the vent, which was always wet (condensation I'm guessing) or straddle the vent. Outside there were two porches. One that had a screen and another further down that had no roof or screens. Overall, I would come back here but prefer a different unit. We didn't hear any noise from those next to us. Washer and dryer was nice, but the dryer took a long time to dry our clothes. They had a community pool, that also had a playground, putt putt and a small store to buy ice cream and other goodies. Tennis courts and pickleball was a few streets over. Well within walking distance. The city had a movie night but we were unable to go.

Absolutely horrible company to deal with. They advertise many different services, but sub out the…read morework to other companies (because they have no marine skills other than cleaning) without communicating this and take no ownership of the problems that arise from them not being involved in the work. Horrible communication skills and acted like I was the enemy for contacting them after the work completed was on the verge of being comical. So many great companies in the area and easy to avoid this one and I would suggest doing so! Update: based on response from John Park who chose to defame me versus addressing the basic deceptive business practice of subcontracting without communicating this and choosing a substandard resource, I feel compelled to add this. Yes, I'm from Annapolis Maryland and thus, I know what a good sail loft / canvas shop, and marine service vendors in general looks and acts like. Apparently so does the largest marina in Charleston where I was staying and later was told Swift was not allowed to do any work there. My fault for not asking them first and likely why Swift would not come down to the boat to look at the job and made me bring the canvas in and would not come to the Marina to look at the problems the subcontractor caused. As to the inflammatory response, I engaged them in mid January and informed them I was leaving in the first week of April or so. Plenty of time to do some minor repairs assuming they did not to have make good on the horrible work such as using large white plastic patches on a tan sunbrella canvas and removing all the attachment hardware and putting any it back on and replacing Velco with strips of the same side making it useless. Added a couple pictures here. At no time did I ever bring up the race of the subcontractor. I simply pointed out that I'd never seen a canvas shop or sail loft in such deplorable and disorganized conditions with customer jobs just thrown about including mine with the Strataglass on the dirty cement floor (now causing me to replace the dodger as it's basically destroyed). It's odd that John Park would equate this statement with something about Hispanics? Who is the racist? Luckily, I was able to connect with Waterland Canvas who was recommended by the Charleston Marina manager to fix the bad work done enough, after they had a good laugh at the work done by Swift's subcontractor, to get me back home on my offshore voyage. Lesson learned when traveling is to ask the locals and the Marina managers. All my grief and expenses could have been easily avoided and the reason I took the time to post this... to warn others.

4th of July Pre booked online…read more So hubby is so excited with living here that he arranges for us to go out on a two person boat. Being it is a holiday we get there early and have breakfast within walking distance so we can get parking. Must have been our lucky day as we got the best parking space in the lot. We were instructed to arrive 45 minutes before the tour. Since we were there and checked in early as was the other group of six we left actually a few minutes early. The weather was perfect and we had on plenty of sunscreen. JD led the boats to different spots on the island so that we were able to see Dolphins. I was surprised that in the middle of the day that we were able to see so many. JD was kind and took pictures and sent them to everyone through What's App. What a great way to spend the day as well learn the island. The entire length of the trip was 2 1/2 hours. Definitely a must do on anyone visiting the Island. Just be warned you will get wet so plan accordingly. You are given a small cooler with ice and bottle waters
