It was very messy, with washing machines placed somewhat haphazardly all around the room. They don't have any lockers to keep valuables and personal items in. I'm not sure they typically supply flap jackets, but there were a couple around. Coveralls were in serious disrepair and only came in larger sizes. There were no gloves available either. It was just a very meh experience across the board. Check the schedules online for speedball/drop-in/reservations only days & times. I can't comment on the shop portion, as I've never used it.

And I have small guys (ages 3 and 1.5) and they literally had games designed for all ages. They had classic shoot em up games but also some active ones and little rides for the super little guys. Ones that would take your picture and print it out too. The games pass card was so easy to use and it was awesome to be able to try as many games and whatever games the kids wanted without having to worry. Love that you pay for a length of time instead of a certain value of coins/tokens/etc. Of course sugar and pop galore, but also surprisingly healthy food options. Like a veggie platter and a salad bar. Nice to see the healthy options too. Pizza of course was the best. We came for a kids birthday party and I do admit waiting for the main show, that would be an appearance by the Chuck e Cheese mouse took way too long. But they did have some fun interactive things for the kids like a birthday song with actions, air tunnel ticket tornado, and of course goody bags. Will we do a birthday party here in the future? I let the kids share the cards because it's just easier that way. We took a break after 30 mins of play and ordered a medium cheese pizza and 2 drinks. The cost was about $30 for that. The pizza was able to feed 4 little kids which was awesome. The pizza is a thin crust and super tasty. It's definitely made fresh and the kids devoured it. There was also an employee walking around with a schwack of cotton candy bags and a debit machine. She was selling the bags for $4 each and what a great idea! Overall the kids had a blast here and highly recommend coming here with your kids!

The staff said "you need to take off your socks or just buy some socks" I don't wanna buy some overpriced $5 socks just to jump on a trampoline for one hour! Neither do I want to be barefoot because one of my friends had an infection on his foot once and didn't pay for socks. It says the facility is being cleaned lots, but never have I EVER seen eve 1 staff cleaning the trampolines. The trampolines were absolutely dirty. Would not recommend, will tell my friends never to come until this stupid rule is fixed.

The facility itself is huge with several different games like basketball and dodge ball set up incase you or your little ones aren't into just straight jumping. You have to go in without socks which at first made me a bit leery but upon inspection it looks like they do a decent job of keeping the place tidy. My friend who is a major germaphobe even gave it her stamp of approval which I was not expecting. The staff are friendly (at least the three we deal with were pretty good) I even saw one playing with a little girl who looked to be four or five whose older brothers had left her behind to do their own things. Considering all the staff we saw were also teens that was way more involvement than I had been expecting and I was pleasantly surprised by it. I think my only real complaint with this place is how the timing of the jumps works. As a prior reviewer mentioned your time starts as soon as the band is printed and ignores the fact it takes a person a few minutes to take their shoes off and get a locker. I want to believe they are aware of that and it seemed that way as we weren't chased out right at 7 but it also was not busy when we went so they make be stricter in peak hours. I mainly went for the pool today. The change room had those lockers that you punch in a 4 digit code and it saves it and locks it for you. Just remember the code and your locker number. They have the typical 25 meter pool and a kid pool with water jets and beach entry. I seen something called a 'lazy river' which looked like a sort of maze you could meander through, which was kind of interesting. I think these are all salt water. I believe I seen another pool as well that looked shallow, but deeper then the kid pool. Theres a hot tub thats actually pretty large. I seen a steam room but it was closed. Additionally I seen a water slide, as well as 3 tiers of diving boards. Its not too shabby for catching a swim but it would be nice if they had a sauna.

Other rinks in the city of this vintage often have tiny little dressing rooms which isn't good for a bunch of large beer drinking old men. The rink is always fairly cold, so not sure if I'd want to be a spectator there. Luckily, we don't get many spectators at our games. The ice is hit or miss. We've been on it a few times where they must have had figure skaters out because there are massive gouges in the surface.

The windows are easy to pop open when the room gets too warm, which is pretty frequent - it's easy to get hot and sweaty in this smaller space! Having bathrooms in two different locations within the hall is a major plus. Small storage room for supplies (ie. yoga mats). Also a small parking lot, and a good location for public transit (the #9 runs right past it) and taking the workout outdoors, with a large field right across the street. Before the first class, I wasn't sure about using a community hall for a fitness class, but it was a fine space to exercise in. Just keep those windows open!

Fast becoming one of my favourite places in town. Me, the girl whose commitment to exercise for…read moreyears has been picking up a pen and writing with it. After working my way through 2 years of nasty grief and health problems and other assorted issues (thanks, pandemic), I was determined to turn over a new leaf and begin really taking care of myself. Over the summer, I began walking around my neighbourhood, but I knew I wouldn't be able to keep it up over the winter. This place is so incredibly close that it fit the bill for contintuing my commitment to fitness. The indoor track is now my second home. I do at least a kilometer each time, and I like that they reverse the direction each day so you get a different view. It also overlooks the activity in the gym below, so you can chuckle at the kids doing karate or playing indoor soccer in the wintertime. There's plenty of exercise equipment. The Lifecycles are great because you can watch TV or internet, and power your usage with your movement. There's the studio where they have all the classes (Zumba, cycle, etc), the gym for basketball, volleyball, etc, and the workout room. Last weekend I got brave enough to try the pool. A little chilly when I got in, but the water was actually pretty warm once I was in a while. The day locker rooms are nearly immaculate. I like that there's a wet and dry locker area, with the handy cords for your locker key that you can put around your wrist while you work out. For an additional price, there are enhanced locker rooms with overnight lockers, towel service, etc. Everyone I've met here, staffwise, has been friendly and approachable. Make sure to wipe down the equipment after you use it. One of these days, I'm going to try out the smoothie bar in the lobby. Can't speak to the daycare or children's programs since I don't have kids, but I've seen all kinds of activities for them in the gym since I've been coming. If I was a parent, I'd definitely consider enrolling my kid in some classes or daycare here.
