I have never been treated so badly by an organization! My husband and I have been through the ringer with this joke of a medical group. We both had doctors and then they left the organization, so, we had to be placed on a waiting list to get new doctors. Fine, we waited, then we got new doctors only to have the doctors quit again. It seems to be a pattern at this organization there is a revolving door of doctors. They are hearded in like cattle and then sent out to pasture. So, the second time around I was told my doctor was leaving and I phoned to get put on the waiting list. But when my husbands second doctor quit, my husband was never informed, so it was some time later that he was added to the wait list. I thought everything was fine and I would have a doctor again within a couple months, give or take. However, there was some weird mix up with my paperwork after I went to see a specialist and some random box on the paperwork got checked and it cancelled me from being a patient with Pinnacle altogether! When I hadn't heard back from the doctor's office, I got concerned and phoned them and they said "You are not a patient here." This, after I had been a patient for at least 5 years at that point. So, I made an issue about it, and insisted they figure out their paperwork. That whole debacle took 2 years! 2! After multiple calls and talks from both my husband and myself, with the corporate office, who by the way didn't seem to care about any of this, and the staff at the Westmount location, who were just rude to both myself and my husband. It wasn't until a doctor in the Westmount location figured out it was a box on the paperwork that got checked by mistake by the specialist, which somehow claimed I was their patient. As soon as she unchecked the box, it was like magic and I was once again a patient at Pinnacle Medical...except, I wasn't! So, I was once again at the mercy of the dreaded wait list. I had been in on a few occasions over this last year and saw that particular doctor when I needed to but she didn't follow through with sending me to another specialist, like she promised, and I've been sitting here waiting for an appointment that 8 months later, still no one has contacted me about. So, here it is November 2024, and about two weeks ago, Pinnacle (Westmount) phoned me to let me know they have a new doctor and she is taking patients. I was happy to finally hear back from them! I then let them know that both my husband and I were on the waiting list for a doctor and asked if I could schedule us both for an appointment and they did. Well, last week they phoned and wanted to reschedule my appointment. My husband took the call and rescheduled his appointment for the early morning time slot and my appointment moved a half hour later from the original time in the afternoon. So, today, my husband had his appointment bright and early at 8am. He came home and was relieved that he had what he felt was a good rapport with the doctor, and she told him that she would take him as a patient. While we are discussing his experience the phone rings. It's Pinnacle, and the woman on the phone proceeds to tell me that my appointment was cancelled, as this new doctor is no longer taking patients. So, my husband jumped in the car and drove down there. He told them that they should take me instead of him. Of course, I'm sure he wasn't nice about it considering all the BS we have been through with this organization. Then they told him that another Organization was accepting new patients and they would get back to him about me taking his spot. My husband then phoned the other organization only to be told that No, they are NOT taking new patients but we could be put on a waiting list. Fine, he said, put my wife and I on the waiting list. So, they did. Then he phoned Pinnacle back to let them know that the other organization is not accepting patients and the woman tried arguing with him about it. He firmly told her, "look I just got off the phone with them and they are NOT taking patients and you might want to know that before you send people there under false pretenses." He then asked her about my appointment, and she said that I would not be getting an appointment as the Doctor was not taking any new patients, and then the she said that he was no longer a patient with the doctor he just saw an hour earlier. In other words my husband was cancelled by Pinnacle. So, three years going down this absolute rabbit hole with an organization that has absolutely no care in the world for the people that come to them for help and I'm done! I'M DONE! And I'm letting anyone and everyone who is looking for a new doctor know to BEWARE of this poorly operated, cancel culture organization, known as Pinnacle Medical Group, BEWARE!

He always has a big smile and a welcoming energy that just makes you feel safe. That says a lot from a young woman who is petrified of needles. He has patience like I've never see before in anyone, and for that I can't say thank you enough. Had he not had the patience for sometimes upwards of a hour to do a needle, I would't be able to type today. I go to him for everything, and never once has he been stumped. While being treated it's never dull, as I am a sponge to all his knowledge. Sometimes I wonder if he is the smartest man in the world! I feel gratitude that I know him and I appreciate being his patient. I have seen Dr. Jana Exner through the years as well and she is a breath of fresh air. She is amazing, and so compassionate! For several years previously I'd awake each morning with itchy, red, teary and sticky eyes, not to mention sniffles, sneezing and a runny nose lasting about two hours; the summer was the worst time. I had been using eye drops and over-the-counter allergy medication to help manage the symptoms but was not happy with the result nor the side effects of the medication. I'm very grateful to Dr. Kennedy for diagnosing my allergy affliction accurately and providing an effective treatment solution. It was so refreshing to visit a physiotherapist who actually adjusted the routine to each individual person. Panther Sports Medicine has many locations across the city, but we were lucky enough to attend the clinic with the owner of it all, Scott. He was such a pleasure to be around too. He would talk to me while poking and prodding, and make jokes to keep me comfortable. I could tell that he really knew what he was doing. Perhaps it was because of all the letters and titles after his name! I was glad that after leaving the friendly environment of Life Mark, Panther showed me the same enthusiasm whenever I visited. The girls at the front desk were always happy to see me and remembered me by name, first and last. They actually let me take home and keep a book I was reading while having physio. I completed my physio before I could finish the book, and they said no one else had touched the book in years, so I could have it. It was fantastic. What cuties! The quality of service at Panther was exceptional. They first did an initial assessment to see where my problems areas were and went from there. I still got the heating pad (and a little nap) every time I went in, but they did so much more to my body. I had acupuncture and intramuscular stimulation, as well as full use of an exceptionally equipped gym. Panther provided regular reports to my insurance company, so they could keep their files up-to-date on my recovery as well. Not only was the treatment phenomenal, but so were the people! Panther Sports Medicine should be a top choice for physical analysis and treatment. The physiotherapists really know what they're doing, and prove that to you when they help you make a quick and full recovery.

If he should move to another clinic, I would immediately drive to that clinic for treatment. I have been going to Darcy for the last 5 years. I sustained a serious injury in a motor vehicle accident and though I have chronic pain from it, regular physio helps keep me moving and allows me to do things that I otherwise would have a hard time doing - specifically my love of running LONG distances. When I told Darcy that I wanted to run a marathon, he kept me going and provided me with feedback on what types of training would be best for my body. He's excellent with all types of patients and is realistic about what will work best given your particular situation. He IS a Canucks fan though and he does give me a hard time about the Flames. Sometimes I let him get away with the trash talk, let's be honest, the Flames make it hard to defend them on occasion. I should also mention that the rest of the staff are excellent as well. The other individuals that assist throughout the course of my treatment are efficient and pleasant. 17/30
