I think this place had the worst matcha I've ever tasted. Usually cafes will serve smth that tastes like sweet milk but this just tasted like water..so I feel like their milk was also not good. That being said the latte was very delicious. Their coffee is very aromatic and the latte was somehow very rich, smooth and creamy. I just don't know how the milk in the latte was so good and the milk in the matcha was terrible. I got a house blend bag as well and it's more on the fruity/acidic side if you like coffee like that.

The place is truly a bakery haven! They have so much stuff, from croissants, quiches, pies, sandwiches, sausage rolls, cookies, breads, danishes, scones, cakes, etc! We found it so difficult to choose but went with their sausage rolls, quiche and latte. The staff were so friendly and wearing their beautiful warm smiles. We drove out to Mill Bay and had our breakfast by the water, it was magical with the sunshine. LOVED the sausage roll; so moist and flavourful. The pastry was so flaky and I'm not even kidding when I say I wanna go back again tomorrow!!! The quiche was also delicious. It had lots of potatoes and was very filling. Again, the pastry was delicious. The latte was also nutty and velvety! Such a beautiful experience! Parking was tight but we found one shortly after we arrived. Hanks have parking stalls reserved for its customers, so be sure to check and park at the right spot. It is free.

Even on a rainy day, you get an energetic community vibe sitting inside as this place is popular with all ages. The coffee shop always has specialty drinks but I'm quite happy with their tea & mocha options. The panini is a perfect size for a lighter lunch & remember to save room for their really tasty dessert options. My favourite is the cookie sandwich that's dipped in chocolate. It's actually the size of the panini (perfect if you got a sweet tooth!). If you find the line up long, take a wander through the back corner of the coffee shop. There's local products that make nice gifts or special treats for yourself. I also like this coffee shop as it is all one level from parking lot into coffee shop. I have yet to get there in good weather but there seems to be space for tables outside for nicer days. Washroom is a decent size but I do wonder if someone in a wheelchair would be able to make the turn/ tighter angle due to the divider wall between seating & the washroom. Cane & walker users would be fine though.
