Tried the chicken Caesar wrap with jalapeño chips and a RC cola. My wrap was delicious and the price was decent. This place can be difficult to find as it is not directly on the street. If you are near red onion walk around the back and you'll find signs for Ed's deli. read more

Ordered a couple subs while in the area to take home. We got the Italian sub and the veggie footlongs. Both very good, mine got soggy but it's not their fault as i didn't have time to eat it right away. I'm sure it was fantastic had i been able to appreciate it right away. I came here on a Tuesday after 1 pm to pick up large Hungry Ed, side of pasta salad and a chocolate coffee cake. The service was great and the sandwich was made quickly. The bread is very soft, fresh and the ingredients tasted great. I loved the ratio of bread to meat and vegetables. I added the sliced peppercinis which gave it a nice kick. The pasta salad is teenie tiny but delicious. I wished they sold it in larger containers bc I could have it as a meal. Overall, enjoyed the sandwich, pasta salad and chocolate crumb cake. It's a local lunchtime destination as the place filled up with patrons that knew exactly what they wanted. I didn't go on the side with seating as I was making a to go order, but could see there were seats and a TV or two. I ordered the Ed sandwich and it was filled with meat, lettuce & tomatoes. You have choices of mayo, mustard and an Italian dressing. What I loved the most is they add seasoned salt & pepper and to me it just makes the sandwich. The bread/roll was super fresh and tasty. Popped into Ed's before heading back on the road! The shop is up the street on McCullough, and instead of going to a fast food chain we wanted to support the locals! When I entered there were only 1 customer and I so I got a little scared, if I chose the wrong place or what, but was immediately welcomed by the young man at the register. He was nice and helped take my order. Theres a seating area to the far left of the store with lots of seats. We got the foot long club sandwich, chips and a drink. I was sitting for a bit, and the owner offered me free food due to a cancelation. It was very nice of him to share the food with me and another customer. I was at the right place, at the right time! My club was delicious, the bread was so soft and the ingredients were so fresh (minus the bacon because it was soggy)! The meatball sub had a kick, but was hot from the oven and absolutely delicious! I've been coming to Lake Havasu for over 30 years and stumbled across Ed's Deli for the first time when I went next door to the hardware store. We ordered 4 whole Hungry Ed! JJ was very helpful and made some excellent recommendations! He recommended getting the sandwiches Ed's way! He also recommended the potato salad which didn't disappoint. Ed's is the place to go for a traditional sub/hoagie. If you are craving amazing, fluffy, flavorful rolls, they have you covered. If you want traditional deli meats and cheeses with all the traditional veggie toppings, they have you covered. If you want a fancy sandwich with brie, arugula, and prosciutto, go somewhere else. Sorry, but it's true. Ed's feels like a traditional mom and pop shop and it serves good, traditional submarine sandwiches. Go in with those expectations and this will quickly become your favorite submarine shop. My favorite is a roast beef sub with the normal fixings and extra spicy sauce. The spicy sauce really makes the sub special (yeah, it's just finely crushed pepperoncinis but it's gooooood). I always get it on white bread but the wheat looks pretty tasty. They have chips and a rotating selection of sides and soups. There is a place to sit down and enjoy, but I prefer to take mine to go. This place can be a madhouse with the line going all the way into the separate dining area. The staff is hit or miss - usually very friendly but there's a few that are in a hurry and just want to make you a sandwich and get you out the door. I'm okay with that because that's usually my main goal. Overall, when in Havasu and craving a sub or going out on the lake and need some good food, check it out! read more
