Hey it's a Jimmy John's & I haven't been disappointed in any locations that I have gone to, even this one being in AZ. This is easy to get in & out of. The employee's say "hi" to you when you walk in. Sandwiches are made correctly & they're fast. I've been craving the Unwhich #9 which is the BOMB!! I use to eat the #9's when I was eating bread & those were yummy too!! I have a thing about needing my sandwich cut in 1/2. It's just easier to eat so I always have to remind myself to ask them to cut it in 1/2 because this isn't something that they normally do, same with cutting the large pickles in 1/2 or 4th's. Unfortunately this store was stinky when I walked in. Had this horrible smell to it that almost made me turn around & walk out. I even told the girl @ the counter. She didn't notice the stinky smell?? It was like a dirty mop smell, or that smell under floor matts that stuff has spilled on in restaurants. Hey as long as its nothing touching my sub!! Great value, amazing food, friendly staff and super clean! This place has it all. We haven't been to a jimmy johns in a while and happened to see this place while driving around in Havasu. This is in a perfect spot right off mesquite and close the the 95. Plenty of parking out front with clean restrooms inside. The place is spotless and appears to be well staffed. Her name is Kim. This was my first time going to a Jimmy John's, but the worst experience I have ever had with customer service. Messing up the order is one thing, and I get it we are human; we make mistakes, we can miss the mark. When I walked in the store to return to them my messed up order, and ask for our sandwiches to be made the way I ordered it, especially when I paid extra for the condiments, she respond hastily with a poor attitude. Instead of trying to rectify the matter, Ms. Kim wanted to fight. Kim said she was not making and another sandwich. She snatched my bag from me then tossed out all the items inside, grabbed my food with her bare hands without any gloves to say I'll show you where the cheese and mustard is only to find a sprinkle of mustard and one piece of cheese for a 8inch sandwich. I asked her you expect me to eat that sandwich now after you touched it and don't want to make another one? She said no. Grabbed the sandwiches or at least what was left after she mangled the hell out of them, and threw them away. Walked away and said nope your not getting your money back I'm the manager. I've learned to really like JJs. First thing I had to learn, they are ridiculously FAST. Which was disturbing the first few times I visited. It seemed pushy, almost rude, rushed. Once I figured out it's truly part of what they do here I came to appreciated it. They usually have the sandwich made before you finishing paying. Usually a gourmet sandwich is a waste for me. I'm ordering the same thing no matter where I go. A Veggie with everything. Gourmet sandwich places tend to focus on the meats. The Veggies here are really good, fresh and a nice combo if you get em all like I do. The hot pepper mix is really good. They pull out some of the bread on the rolls which gives a really nice bread to ingredients ratio. I order with o mustard, no mayo, doesn't need it here. Definitely better than that huge sandwich chain that's around every corner. Sadly that's usually my best option for a quick Veggie Sandwich. So I'm happy to see JJs popping up here and there. I just got home from ordering 2 sandwiches from Jimmy Johns and I don't eat here often, so I'm not familiar with the ways they do their Sandwiches, but when I ordered a sandwich roast beef and saw that it came with tomatoes I asked the cashier without tomatoes. Once paid I moved over and noticed he was putting mayo on the sandwich. I told him, oh I didn't want Mayo only mustard. He response oh you should have told the cashier that in a irritated voice, I apologized and told him I didn't know that, I then told him what condiments to put on it only to see that it was already wrapped and he never asked me, I mentioned oh I guess I'm doing everything wrong I thought you ask me what I want on it. He said yes we do, but didn't apologize for his mistake just left it at that. The next sandwich he again just starts making it and I butted in and told him what I wanted on it. I am going through a home remodel and have been eating out and yesterday ate and Jersey Mikes and thought I try Jimmy Johns this time. I'll tell you this will be my last visit to this place, service like that when there is not anyone behind you or ahead of you in line doesn't deserve my business. I'll stick with Jimmy Johns. Normally I'd give 5 stars but on 1-31-2021 at 3:24 pm I stopped in to pick up my husbands usual order #9 No Mayo No onion extra oil/vinegar and for the 3 rd time during COVID you added Extra Mayo. They have a great online ordering system but we choose to order in person the first time just for the experience. There seemed to be a lot of confusion, but the order was mostly correct and the place was clean and new. As for the food...the bread was hard. I'm not sure if they are supposed to use fresh bread every day but I'm pretty sure it was a day or two old. The toppings all seemed fresh but the dry bread ruined the taste. I had a unique experience at this location. I purchased two BLT sandwiches last week and when I received them, the bottom bread of both sandwiches we very hard. Talked to the Manager about them and I asked him to replace the bread. He stated that all of his bread was hard. I asked him to replace the bottom half with a top half (the top half was soft). He stated that he could not do that. He stated that he would refund my money. I stated to him that I did not want my money back but wanted a soft bun with my sandwich. This was the first time at a Jimmy John's for my husband and myself. We were not familiar with the menu, and thus, saw the additional "free" ingredients (regular and Dijon mustards, hot peppers, oil and vinegar, etc) as our sandwiches were being made. It looked like the gal was just about done with the sandwiches, so instead of being a jerk and asking for Dijon mustard to be put on them (and having her disassemble the sandwiches), I thought to ask for it on the side. She was hesitant, and then the "manager" Michael approached and said, no, we can't do that. Excuse me?? What is the difference between putting it on the sandwich and putting some in a container to take with us? He was VERY rude, and never gave us any explanation. He actually became very offensive towards us. Michael, you really need to learn how to work with customers. You were very rude and do not deserve to be a "manager". I wish we had the name of the gal who made our sandwiches. She actually offered to put the mustard on the sandwiches after they had been wrapped up. She deserves recognition from the company.
