The project based learning allows the students to gain a much better understanding of what they are learning and as a result are able to retain that information. The facilitators are all amazing and show GREAT care for not only my son but all of the children. The entire staff from the facilitators to the administrative staff are really invested in helping the children become the best them they can be. We took our son out of a Montessori school and we travel 25-30 minutes everyday(sometimes 2-3 times a day) to bring him to iLEAD Spring Meadows because the school is providing him with the education that is going to help him to become a creative-leader that will be able to keep up with the changing times of today's advance society, which is something he just wasn't getting from his previous school. His growth from when he first started to the end of his first year was amazing. He is scoring higher than his grade level in math and he has been grabbing books and sounding out the words and reading them all summer. He is going into the 1st grade and I am so very excited to see his continued growth progress. If you are looking for a school that embraces technology, teaches your child (even as young as Kindergarten) not only the basics of computers but also coding, that allows your child to be creative and express themselves in art and dance, that works with your entire child (the social/emotional and academic), that takes the time to work with your child individually, that allows your child to be themselves and embrace and love who they are, that teaches them there are many ways of doing things instead of just one, that teaches them about the world and the many cultures within it and a school that helping to mold your child into the LEADER of tomorrow then iLEAD Charter School Spring Meadows is definitely the school for you. My son LOVES it here and he tells EVERYONE about his school and his passion for it. When my child is excited about going to school, sad when it is summer break and he can't go to school and learn and shows so much pride in his school that his 6 year old self basically yells it from the roof tops lets me know I made the right choice in bringing him here and that our long travel to the school is beyond worth it.

We requested a unicorn theme as she is currently obsessed with them. Kelly outdid herself. The girls created artwork with a unicorn as assisted by Kelly, a former art teacher. They then went in the barn to find a live "unicorn" they were able to paint. She even had glittery tinsel for the girls to braid into the mane. What a magical experience! My daughter is still on cloud 9!!!

This symposium was hosted at Owens Community College. We spoke at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts building. It's a great building and it had a fine auditorium to speak at. I needed IT assistance to connect my laptop to give my presentation, something no one else was doing. I needed to do this as I was going to use a program to promote audience interaction from the high school kids. The program allows participants to scan a qr code with their phone and be able to answer questions. This program called Slido, is subscription based and is tied to my account, thus needed IT assistance. The IT department at the college was incredibly helpful in ensuring I could connect and also ensuring the audio worked for my presentation. They were top notch. It was a great honor and experience as a guest speaker here, talking to high school kids about Ethics! Would love to do it again!

Ah, Terra State. My home for my final two years of high school. The many fond memories... the…read moremany painful ones... the people... the professors... What an experience. I completed 65 credit hours here while in my last two years of high school. All of the credits transferred to the University of Toledo; although, my program (pharmacy) did not accept all of them. Oh well. It was great to gain college experience while in high school and interact at a college-level with others instead of dealing with high school drama. I'm really glad I had this chance and recommend it to any who also find themselves in a similar situation. The buildings are a bit antiquated, but they serve their purpose. The faculty are very knowledgable, most having their Ph.D.'s. The campus has really come a long way since I started. The outreach within the community is present as well as a nice music program headed up by some talented musicians. I played in the Brass Choir while I was there and had the chance to perform at many venues in Northwest Ohio. I recommend this to anyone in high school looking for college credit, anyone who recently graduated looking to save money, or anyone beyond the intial days of education who are just looking to come back to school again.
