Which by the way your credits aren't worth anything to other schools. They have you complete very unnecessary courses for money. Such as two social classes for $4,000. Which the course genuinely asks, "is sitting on your phone a good way to study". As well a human psych class. Prepare for no breaks. Four days for Christmas and two for thanksgiving. If you miss two in person classes, you can be cut from the program and school. As well if you have the wrong shade of blue on they won't allow you into class. I have an event in the summer. Upon talking with staff I'm going to be kicked out, then pay to get back in next quarter. If you talk to older vet tech students their classes start with up to 16 people and by next year there is 3. Something that contributes to this is that they give you your schedule the day before. You will be treated and belittled like a child. However, if you have kids or a job forget going here. You will be fired or have to give up your kids to deal with the schedule.

AFTER finishing here they decided at that point to tell me 1 grant did not go through. This is complete FRAUD

First off, I proudly disclose that I was a founder and am a board member of the Autism Academy of…read moreLearning. My son just graduated from the school after 11 wonderful years. It's a world of difference from attending most of the Toledo area traditional public schools, as the school and its services are designed around the individual needs of the students. The school's philosophies and policies put the students first, maintain their dignity, treat them with compassion and respect and provide the services needed to help each child reach his/her potential. Most classrooms have six students to four staff. We offer speech and OT, a Snoezelen Multisensory Room, two gross motor sensory rooms, gymnasium, computer lab with smartboard, life skills room and vocational programming both onsite and in the community at places such as Goodwill Industries and the Holiday Inn French Quarter. In response to the review by a former employee, the overwhelming majority of the school's students have a diagnosis of autism. However, as a public school, the AAL cannot deny admission to students who do not have the diagnosis. The programming and services are specifically designed for those with autism. The school has a very open-door policy and anyone wishing to visit is welcome to call the school for a tour or to answer any questions.

From Wednesday to Friday there was a lot of video game time and not much structured activity. He enjoys this kind of camp but felt it "wasn't worth the money," and we agreed.

He came home with the game he designed and had some trouble getting it to work on his computer. But my son is a bit of a geek and loves to try and figure out these technical problems. He was able to and now has the game installed on his computer. The camp is definitely not cheap. We decided to send him strictly to day camp because it save us $500. Note to ID Staff: that is pricey for 4 night stay! We are lucky because we have relatives near the university and they were able to take care of our son for the week he was at camp. The teachers are young college students/graduates and were very knowledgeable and engaging with the students. No stuffy professors here. They were also very careful with our children's safety and the parents had to follow the rules when picking up and dropping off the kids for camp. I appreciated that. Our son said the food was just ok. But really, we didn't expect a 5 course meal to be served to him. These are kids. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, turkey sandwich is really all that the kids want. We are planning another adventure at ID Tech camp this year. Programming in Java. He is really looking forward to attending again this year. Yes, this camp is a bit expensive but we put a little money aside each pay check so we can send our kids to camp each summer. Our boys know that we save all year to send them to camp. This is a good lesson for them to learn as well. When you budget for camp it makes it an easier decision to send them. Especially when they ask and want to go to camp.
