However, I have gotten them there before. Now I don't know whom the tellers were. But I asked for the roll of quarters and the woman asked if I had an account there. I said no, but I have gotten quarters from them before. She said we can't give them to you. I said, you know I walked a mile from my house to get these quarters, knowing I got them before. I told her I needed them to do laundry in my apartment building. She told me to go to a laundromat to get my quarters. I told her I just told you I walked here, that I don't even know where there is a laundromat in this area. I said fine and walked a way. I was very disappointed on how I was treated. Well, this weekend, I stopped in at a TCF bank and asked for a roll of quarters and without hesitation I got my quarters, so I asked if I could get two rolls of quarters and they said sure! What a nice filling to be treated like a human being! US Bank could learn from them!

This is the worst bank I've ever worked with in my 50 years. I regret ever doing business with…read morethem. I took out a second mortgage HELOC with them on the recommendation of a real estate friend, based on their rates. Their communication is terrible, their policies make even the simplest activities miserably difficult, and their fees are ridiculous. I could relay many stories of the crazy difficulties I had with them, but my last transaction with them sums it up well. Sick of dealing with them I saved up to pay off the loan. First their customer service said I had to wire money to my savings account and then transfer to the loan balance to pay it off. When I pointed out that made no sense and that I'd been making direct payments against the loan for years they said they had to "research" how to pay off the loan. WTF? Finally they emailed me wire instructions which included $49 in fees they would charge including a "satisfaction fee", a "acceptance fee" to receive money from me, and a "recording fee." They literally made me pay them in order to be allowed to pay off my loan! Greedy, confusing and frustrating sum up Summit Credit Union.
