For a credit union they are fine, but oh my gosh, every time I am here the lines both inside and in the drive-thru are insane! They have 4 drive thru lines and it still takes at least a half hour to go through it. It is beyond me what takes so long and I've waited, told the person to put in checking, and they end up putting it in savings. read more

Point Loomis Location: Had problems getting money transferred to a school from my savings account. I received a NSF charge. Went to credit union for help. Given incorrect information by an employee....another NSF charge. Back to the CU again. Couldn't figure out what was wrong. The employee helping me conferred with a female who I assume was his superior. A lot of guessing as to what was happening was going on. I asked for an audit, but that was not well received. I was promised a return call by this women after she researched this a bit more. Over a week now and no call. I have been in this CU for many, many years, and the decline is obvious in the ill-trained employees, and only surpassed by an unprofessional, bad mannered manager. read more

So much better than the big corporate banks, this place didn't destroy our economy then take our hard-earned tax money as a bailout only to regain profitability with fee proliferation and increases. I've been banking here for about 15 years. I absolutely love a handful of the staff at several locations! My other transactions with staff are pleasant...I've never walked out of Educators disappointed or upset. It's a very positive experience. The interest rates are good and Educators stays current on technology and adding in member conveniences. The Loomis Branch is my favorite one to frequent! read more

I'm buying a car and I have to finalize today. The delivery time for the car is 5:30pm today. I went to Educators online for financing, but I have to pick up the check in person. I got to the front desk at this Educators branch and checked in at 4:30pm; it's 5:30 now, I'm still waiting to see a banker, and I'm going to be late to pick up my car. The staff at this branch weren't helpful at all; I let them know this information when I checked in, but the staff weren't concerned at all. It was about 5:45pm when I got the check. read more

We used to have our accounts at ECU, ever since we attended U.W.-Parkside, we were always happy with their services. We closed the accounts when we moved out of state, and when we returned we just kept our existing accounts. Our son was given some savings bonds when he was very young, and we wanted to cash them out. We checked at several large, national banks, none of them would cash the bonds since we did not have an account, nor would they certify the paperwork so we could mail them in to have them cashed. So we went to ECU to open a savings account so we could cash the Savings bonds. When I explained our intent to one of their employees, he actually said they would cash the bonds out for us, no account necessary, they were so understanding and helpful. We will definitely recommend ECU, and when our son gets older, we will be sure to set up his accounts with them. read more

After Guaranty Bank got shut down by the FDIC last May we immediately made the decision to open accounts at this particular location. Educators Credit Union is top notch!!! Nothing but amazing,friendly and very professional service each and every time we go in or go through the drive thru. I recently had to have paperwork notarized and had questions about the paperwork I needed help with and they were simply amazing and answered every question I had and went above and beyond to help me out.
