Huge bonus is that you can book online and get a text reminder an hour before your cut. The week before my appointment I was walking by the salon and stopped in to double check my appointment was made- I always figure with online booking, its good to confirm (despite my confirmation email.) They said all was good. The day of my appointment rolls around and I receive an email at noon stating my stylist was running behind, and asking if I could come in a half hour later. I replied sure, no problem. 2 hours before my appointment time I receive an email back saying "Thanks, we will see you then!" I turn up to my appointment, 5 minutes early, to be told that she would not see me as she was running behind. Apparently they had been trying to call me but they had the wrong number. I asked what happened, and they said my online booking had been made after another appointment was made for that time. I explained how I had multiple confirmations leading up to my appointment and showed them my emails, and they said they were sorry and didn't know how that could have happened. They asked the stylist if she could squeeze me in (a quick trim, nothing major) and she refused. Clearly my business was not important, which is a shame because before this instance I had enjoyed the salon. I will now be finding a new salon that values my business and respects my time.
