It is rather funny that you continued to go to a stylist who wasn't doing your hair to your liking. You'd have thought you'd go some where else rather than wait a year. Telling a person with dementia to sit down and wait their turn, OMG, you obviously have never dealt with people who have dementia. The owner was being kind and also ensuring the client was comfortable. A little kindness on your part would help. Anyone can develop dementia and its a horrible disease. The owner of Scorpios has always been willing and able to accomodate people with disabilities. it gives them a sense they still are part of society and for awhile they feel happy and look good. Over the years I've seen her work with people with disabilities, including a family member. When one of her long term clients was in hospital and would not eat, the stylist went to the hospital to feed them and of course take care of their hair. You are not the center of the universe. Some people need extra attention and help. You didn't. You might take a few lessons from the owner of Scorpios As to your complaint about a $60 hair cut, that is a really good price. Don't try White Rock or South Surrey, it will run you a hundred or better. there are any number of business owners in the Valley who spend extra time and effort with customers/clients who need the extra mile. They are what made the Valley a nice place to live and a good place to have your hair done if you develop dementia
