From the exterior, it looks like a nice facility. Once you're inside, it's cold and sterile like many medical offices, but something about it felt more like a used car dealership. There were 3 staff members sitting behind the desk with nothing to do. I only waited a few minutes to be seen by the doctor, who was pleasant enough but I really wondered if she was a legitimate doctor. She shuffled in the room with a messy ponytail and wearing snap-up athletic pants under the doctor coat. I don't expect a doctor in a tuxedo, but there's something to be said for looking professional and polished. I was given a Z pack, some kind of steroid, and cough "pearls" with little explanation of what everything was for. I was disappointed because I told the doctor that the cough was the worst part, and I wanted something that would help me sleep - ideally a cough syrup with codeine. This was my first experience with the pearls, which weren't nearly as effective. This visit was on a Sunday in the late afternoon, so unless I'm scrambling to find somewhere open again, I won't be back.

He automatically assumed it was from vaping and said I had an "infection". He never even said what kind. He said he prescribed antibiotics and I waited overnight and the prescription was never even sent. The receptionists and nurses were nice but I won't be going here again because of how awful that doctor was.

We have had good experiences at this hospital 3 times. First was when my father in law was there…read more He had been to multiple doctors and hospitals and finally after a fall and visit there he was diagnosed with Parkinsons dementia. He had some atypical symptoms but they helped to get the appropriate diagnosis and helped us get him into hospice which gave him even more services that he needed for free. Next my husband was taken there after a fall and they got plastic surgeon to stitch up his eye lid which was cut all the way through. It healed well and years later he has no visible scar. Recently my husband who is now in his 70s woke up and was so dizzy nauseated and in pain we called the rescue squad. They wanted to take him to Bolingbrook hospital but my father in law had been there and they were no help so we requested Rush Copley even though it was a little further. He had a good experience, with a thorough work up for everything and they scanned his head and whole torso.. Thankfully it was just symptoms from a combo of a sinus thing and intestinal inflammation. They gave him some meds to get him stable. Sent him home with some meds and gave him referrals. The hospital was busy but they got him into quickly and I think we were out of there before lunch time. Very caring staff, doctors etc. The only issue I had was that I was not able to go with him and when I called to get info on his condition nobody called me back. I called twice and really just wanted to know how serious it was while I waited for my son to get here to drive me there. I'd say a couple hours. When we got there there was no explanation of why someone could not have called to let me know he was not dying. Since his care was good I did not mar down for that but it is something they should work on as when we arrived it did not seem like they were overly busy and someone could have relayed at least a general message about his condition. If we ever need to go again I will choose this hospital.
