Worst ever! When you're checking in and trying to explain your situation, everybody in the whole freaking waiting room can hear everything you say - whatever happened to HIPAA? There's a big giant open check in desk and waiting room. The check-in has a bunch of ladies sitting at a desk all wide open. One lady was telling a patient you need to make payment, it's asking for you to pay. It's in collection-loud enough for all to hear! Everyone can hear everything the receptionists are saying. It's terrible. Why don't they have dividers at a desk where you can sit down and talk privately to the receptionist instead of a big open room where you can hear everything? I think you could probably be having a heart attack and nobody would do anything. I'm going to have to find a new practice. Small one, not this corporate type healthcare. read more

I paid my balance due to Duly in Oct. and provided proof of payment from my bank after receiving initial notification my bill was still due. During my first of many calls, I was told there was no record of payment and was reassured the matter was being reviewed and would not be sent to collections. Despite multiple follow ups via phone and email over the past 4 plus months, the issue remains unresolved. We are now in mid March and I am still receiving emails and texts stating my account will be sent to collections if unpaid. Tuesday I requested again, to speak to a supervisor and was assured I would receive a call by the end of the day. That did not happen, again. This level of service and lack of follow through is completely unacceptable and truly unprofessional. If a zero-star rating was an option, I would choose it. Do better Duly! read more

I was referred to a specialist here by my PCP. Upon calling to schedule initial appointment as advised, I was transferred SEVEN times and spent OVER TWO AND A HALF HOURS on the phone. YIKES on bikes. Hopefully, the specialist/provider is worth it. read more

I've seen Dr. Gaonkar for many years at this location and find him to be a great primary care doctor: willing to spend time talking to you, thorough and caring. But geez, some of the staff may need a refresher in customer service skills. I called the other day (to see whether I should go to the hospital for an issue, and if so to get a referral for it). Explained my situation to a nurse who said, "Well, if you're really dying you can go to the hospital" in a rather accusatory tone. (Really, that's the way you talk to a patient in pain?) When I explained a few more things she said, "Oh, that's even worse." (Gosh, that's not a scary thing to hear or anything.) At the end of the conversation when I said "Thank you" she just hung up. :/ So I've had good experiences with the doctors here, but at least one nurse could spruce up her bedside manner. :( read more

This place has given me the worst medical care since it switched over from Dupage Medical Group to Duly. I was charged nearly $400 for a normal physical visit, which is twice as much as the normal cost for a physical. When I called to inquire what the extra charge was, the office stated it was because I asked about vitamin D. I informed the office that I never inquired about vitamin D and that it was simply something my doctor brought up to me. The office said there was nothing they could do. A few months later I called to schedule a Dr. appointment for a severe cough that lasted over 1 month. I contacted the office 3 times before I got a response. I set up a visit with Dr. Neville and was told I should go on antibiotics but because I had just had the stomach flu, I would have to wait. He said I could call in 5 days if my cough was still bad and he would fulfill the prescription. I called on day 5 and did not get a response. I called back on day 6 and requested the prescription. The nurse said Dr. Neville would call me back. I told them I just need a prescription that was promised me and I did not need another appointment and did not wish to be charged as such. The nurse listened and told me the Dr. would call me back. I spoke to the Dr. for a few minutes, repeating everything I had told him 5 days ago as if he had forgotten entirely. He then prescribed me with my antibiotics. I later found out he had charged me for 2 full visits ($150 each). I called to fix the issue and was told the manager would call me back. I waited 3 weeks and never received a response. I called the office multiple times and left messages for a bill inquiry on mychart and was ignored. I finally was able to speak to someone 4 days before my bill was due and was told a manager would settle the issue with me. A day later i received a voicemail from Nancy, who failed to address my issue. I then had to start the process all over again. Its been over 1 month and still no resolution. If you doctor promises a prescription, you should be able to get it without having to go through multiple visits and getting charged without any transparency. Long story short, I had to wait an additional month for my cough to resolve itself. The antibiotics didn't fully heal the cough, but I could not afford to be charged a third time for the same issue. The office almost never responds to MyChart and if you make a call to the office, they either take a day or more to get back to you, or they just ignore it entirely. If you are going to pay for medical care, I suggest going somewhere they will actually respond to you. read more

DuPage Medical Group... the Borg of Chicago medicine. DMG has been gobbling up any and all docs / practices it can find and have been for decades. That is a very very bad thing. While your individual doctor may be fine, behind the scenes he/she is forced to refer people religiously to other DMG docs and focus on boosting revenues through unnecessary tests and reduced patient time. My own doc of 2 decades finaly had enough a while ago and bolted from DMG. Dealing with the office staff, the billing staff, and corporate are all various levels of hell. Oh, and forget about going to Edward hospital in Naperville unless you want a DMG doc. I have had 2 separate ER experiences where the DMG-affiliated ER doc called in another DMG doc for an unnecessary consult AGAINST MY INSTRUCTIONS. Once they say hello to you expect the $400 fee to show up soon. Good luck fighting it if you value your credit rating. Avoid these people at all costs. read more

I like the convenience of multiple locations and available doctors. However my experience with specialists has been awful. Lots of expensive tests with no real results. I got a folder of printed material from Web MD from one rheumatologist. I don't need to pay for that! However the office is clean and I know I can get in relatively quickly with after hours options. The nurses are personable too. Just question the amount of tests being ordered if it feels wrong. read more

Been going here forever! I have no clue what the people are saying with the bad reviews. Never been robo-called except for the reminder and confirmation of an upcoming appointment. And I love those reminder calls as I tend to forget the date and time. The staff and doctors are excellent. As a constant migraine sufferer, I couldn't live without the people in this office. Not only are they nice but they are empathetic and caring. Dr. Love is exceptional. If you are looking for a new primary care physician I highly recommend him and this office. These people are crooks! I was seen for a medical condition and was given some medication and labs were ordered. My condition was not getting better, so I called back two weeks later. I talked to a nurse, explained that my condition was not getting any better and that I wanted a referral to see a specialist. She suggested I come back in and see a nurse practitioner for the same problem. I asked her if the nurse would be able to run different tests or do anything different than was done at my previous appointment. She assured me that in fact she could. I told her that I didn't want to come in and pay for another appointment for the same problem if nothing different could be done. She assured me this was the best course of action. I went to the appointment and like I suspected nothing more was done. The nurse didn't do anything for me. She just listened to me explain the same thing that I had during my phone call. She ended up referring me to a specialist! The reason that I called in the first place! These people are crooks! It's a money grab! They were just extorting money for an unnecessary visit! If I could leave zero stars, I would. I made an appointment for for my yearly check for a maintenance drug I take. I was a patient of DuPage Medical, left last year for another doctor who I didn't like and decided to go back to DuPage Medical. Found a doctor close to home and made the appointment for this specific reason. I made an appointment for 12:45 and got to the office at 12:30 and checked in, the desk again confirmed why I was there. About 1:05 everyone that came in after me had already went back so i asked if there was any trouble because I was on my lunch break the desk said your appointment is 1pm we just tell people 15 min before. I said good to know I'm on my lunch break. A few minutes later did my height and weight and then went through my medical history review. With the doctor. The doctor then said your on this medicine and you need refill? I said yes. She said we can't write prescriptions for name brand medicine only generic. I said I tried generic and I did not do well with it so I would like name brand. She said she couldn't help me. I said what am I supposed to do I need a blood test and refill she said I would need to see a specialist then then said are we done here? I said I guess since you can't help me. I tried to call a specialist however there were no appointments until January even after the scheduler heard my story. ( I was still at the office) now I am frantically trying to get another appointment with another doctor in the meantime I will run out of my medicine which will cause my thyroid systems to worsen. What kind of scam Is this? Who is the drug rep for this company? Is he getting a kickback from the generic company? I have never heard of anything like this and I have been taking this medicine for 18 years and DuPage Medical has prescribed it. Of course no call back or concern from DuPage Medical. Dupage medical group has some decent doctors but the people at the front desk, there billing department and customer service absolutely STINKS. They are rude and Also don't forget your co Pay because your ass will be tackled down for it. In the process of looking for a Edwards doctor. So done with this practice. It's a shame so many patients have written negative comments. My doctor is Dr. Gaonkar. He is great. I only have to wait about 15 minutes to see him. He is thorough and answers all my questions. I don't feel rushed, and he handles my problems until they are solved. The only problem I have is with the website. It is difficult to make an appointment, and My Chart is a disaster! So, along with the staff, as others say, please make your website easier to access appointments and My Chart. read more

Not sure how good/bad the doctors are at this location, because I never actually got the chance to be seen by one. Arrived for my appointment 20 minutes early because I was a first time patient, and after waiting an hour I was finally told by the lady at the front desk that she forgot to check me in and I would have to come back either hours later or the next day. Needless to say I walked out. Don't really care if their doctors are the best in the entire Midwest. If you have incompetent staff, you don't deserve to be in business. read more

This facility threatened to send my account to collections because THEY did not process the insurance paperwork correctly. Took them months and me calling my insurance repeatedly to get them to apply the correct discount, even after I had paid my portion months before!!! Go elsewhere for your medical services. The people processing the claims are inept, uncaring and in my opinion lazy. read more
