For the longest time, we've been going to our parents' tax person but we got so annoyed last year that we knew it was time to look for another one. From the start, we were impressed on how easy it was to schedule an appointment and how everything was automated. Complete 360 to what we're accustomed to! When we got to our appointment, we were greeted by Edwin and he was very friendly. He took the time to get to know us and made sure the whole appointment was conversational and relaxed. He was also thorough in explaining how taxes work so we feel more prepared for next year. The price is pretty great too, half than what we've been paying all these years! A well-deserved 5 star for sure. Tip: Make sure to bring all documents in your appointment. It's better to be over prepared to make sure everything is captured. Edwin is a really nice guy but needs to pay more attention to the details when he's completing taxes! My husband and I came for the first time to have our taxes done by Eddie since he had great yelp reviews but boy do I regret it. After we e-filed with Eddie and him telling us that we would get a refund of $1,000 back, we received a letter from the IRS stating that we had inputted a number wrong and were therefore only going to get back $300. He was by far the most reasonably priced that I found when I was asking around for prices on doing my taxes. He gave a simply flat rate.
