He was so great with helping me file my taxes and was wonderful with his clients. Tax professionals is the exact opposite. Do not go here! They made several mistakes on my taxes, were disorganized and unprofessional. They also do not answer emailed questions and have multiple people working on one tax file-it is bazaar. Called Empire Tax and they where able to schedule me for the same day, I had my appointment at 4:30 but was not seen until 5pm. The tax preparer was very through and helpful. I recommend having these professionals do your taxes just make sure you have spare time. Overall everyone here is very friendly, specially the lady's in the front reception area. read more

This was my first time using professional tax service, and I'm thankful to have found this one. As with any major decision, I researched. But, I didn't quite find my way to Empire except by luck. (Thank you, Yelp!) I was reaching out to another service - one that I wasn't convinced that I wanted to use - and Yelp suggested sending my "request for quote" to Empire, too. (Thank you again, Yelp!) Bobby replied within minutes, even though that wasn't my expectation. After looking at Empire's Yelp page, I knew this was my choice. And now that my taxes are filed, I can say with certainty that it was the right choice! He was thorough, knowledgeable, intelligent, professional, and he made the somewhat stressful experience very not stressful, and actually pleasant. Unfortunately if they are out sourcing to Tax Professionals beware I had the same Tax pro for 25 yrs he retired and recommended Tax Professionals they did my taxes 2018 & 2019 both times I paid over $400 it took them 10 minutes to prepare. I received a bill from the IRS stating I did not declare income that was clearly given to Khan but overlooked when filing. When I called him to let him know he said with attitude he would look into it but then was unreachable. I knew I was not going to get that call. Yes my fault for not checking throughly but I never had a problem before. Very disappointed in this business I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Had Bobby work on our taxes a couple of weeks ago with great results. We expected to pay, but this was not the case. To our surprise he was able to get us a decent refund. His fee was a fraction of what we have paid in the last 3 years. Our situation has not changed. We have 1 W-2, 2 students (1 full time), and 1 child. I can't rave enough on how thankful we are that we stumbled across Empire Tax Service on Yelp. Bobby (and his assistant) are very friendly, and the location is beautiful and trendy. He is understanding and truly tries to maximize your financial portfolio to get you the strongest refund or savings possible. He is the go-to guy for IRS taxes.
