CS people are rude, you never get the same answer and on the THIRD fraud attempt on my account in 2 months, they got me for over 100.00 dollars. Started a savings account for my grandchildren. Their literature said no fees and no minimum required to open. They each put in between 23 and 25 (their piggy banks). They were then charged at 5 dollar service fee. When I asked why. I was told they needed to maintain a minimum of 100 to not get a fee. Very deceptive in their brochures. read more

My wife has had to deal with getting new credit cards (new numbers) every few months because her EECU account keeps getting hacked where fraudulent charges are being made to her account by companies she has never done business with... unauthorized charges. This is a continuous problem as if a banker at this specific EECU location is making a copy of every new card and using it. VISA USA Corp, Federal Trade Commission, FBI credit card fraud will be notified, as well as any other agency I find with jurisdiction. Plus, you must do all conversations and account transactions in person, thus requiring driving to their office for something that other financial institutions will provide by telephone. read more

The only thing this Credit Union has going for them is their friendly faces and warm greetings and the fact that they always try to remember your name. That would all be peachy if it weren't for the fact that corporately they are ALWAYS looking for opportunities to bankrupt their patrons. Today is a sad day. I've been an EECU member since I was a little girl and my parents set up a savings account for my brother and I to put our livestock sales money in. I've never opened another bank account and have been using them for probably 20+ years now. I thought credit unions were for the people but when I checked my account balance recently, they charged me a $3.00 transfer fee to move money from one account to another. I can understand the so-called 'courtesy pay' fee for those that are in a bind and need money to pay bills, buy groceries, etc., but a 'transfer fee' to move my money from one account to another...arbitrary and unnecessary, in my opinion. Since when did my local credit union start taking notes from banks like Chase and Wells Fargo? I called the customer service number to find out. The man that answered the phone was less than helpful in telling me 'that's just the way it is now, we sent out notices...' I asked him to note that I was dissatisfied with this fee and he replied with 'ok' and hung up on me. No attempt to keep me as a customer. That hurt the most as I have been so loyal for so long. So long EECU. I'll be leaving very, very soon. read more

I have several banks I deal with and this is the only credit union I do business with. Very good about low interest loans and credit card. Customer service in drive through has had issues and my family does not recommend it. Note: check your receipts as we have been shorted more than once. read more

This Bank was very rude in the drive thru ..I drove up to cash a check by one of their long time customers and my friend for 30 years. In the past I had always drove up been greeted politely and helped accordingly. The lady was really rude had not been trained properly how to speak to people. I own a business in Weatherford and will never bring any if my business to this bank Credit Union and will make sure everyone in my Social circles know this. read more

I have been a member for about 7 years and never had a problem UNTIL I paid off my car. I bought a P/U and applied for a M/C Credit Card at the same time. That's when the problems begin. I wanted automatic draft for the payments each month and as told it was setup. The next month a payment was NOT made and went against my Credit Score. I called them they said again they would set it up again no payment was made but I was on top of this time. I called (only took about 6 calls to get ahold of a human, if you want to be made mad press 2, if you want to be made REAL mad press 3 if you ant to be made mad in a foreign language press 4 etc...) Now they tell me have to SIGN a form and bring it in person to allow for the auto-draft. 1st time they told me that. The bank is great but the 800 # FOR Customer Service SUCKS! I Contacted the Weatherford Branch got ahold of a human and got it resolved. FINALLY. Thanks Weatherford. read more

When I walked in to sign up for a savings account I told the gentleman at the front my name to wait and see one of their employees and I informed him that I currently had a paper license and I also had my recently expired license with me as well, and he said he would check and see if that was okay, he informed me that it was. He put me on the list and stood in the foyer-- which had two small couches that were filled with a large family-- for 20 minutes while their only 2 workers were "busy". Then after it was finally my turn to be helped the woman I was working with asked for my license, so I pulled out both of my licenses (the paper and the expired) and the woman said "oh you'll have to come back when you get your hard copy". I replied politely with a " no thank you, I don't appreciate your customer service therefore I will be banking elsewhere" to which she replied "okay". I did not feel welcomed as a potential new customer and I didn't feel as if she cared if I banked here at all. I don't recommend this bank. I felt as if I weren't being taken seriously because of my age and for this they lost a customer. read more

Well, looks like I am not the only one who had a bad experience at this branch judging by the other poor reviews. Poor service is often a reflection of the manager, and the manager of this location is horrible. She is rude and inept, and gives out the wrong information, not bothering to make an effort to investigate to get things right. She should be replaced by a friendlier, more competent person. Drive in to the Fort Worth branch to get superior service, and don't waste your time here. read more

I have been in this branch 3-4 times handling transactions with a friend. I observed a callous, I-could-care-less attitude. Not one time can I recall anyone being gracious or warm & kind. Everyone seemed miserable and just there to process you like any other transaction and move on to the next. This is a direct reflection of the management. I expected more from the Weatherford location. My experience with the Fort Worth location was much different. They were gracious and kind....greeted you warmly, smiled and in just a few seconds made you glad you were there doing business. The Weatherford office needs new management....someone with excellence who can set the bar for others. I would not be surprised if the metrics for this location were very sub par compared to the rest. I think I will write a letter to the office of the EECU Bank President to bring this to his attention. I wonder if he is aware. read more
