I am a "Professional Hacker" by job title, so when I saw that there was a robotics school that my…read morekid could go to less than ten miles away from our home in Woodland Hills I jumped at the opportunity. I showed my son a few videos from the buildcoolrobots.com page and his eyes lit up. I thought to myself "We may have a winner". After his first class/demo my kid was hooked. As a "Geek Father" I must admit I had a tear (of joy) in my eye as well as he told me "Daddy I love it". Speaking with Stan (the man) to get a feel for his "savvy" I was extremely pleased at his skill level and more importantly how he related with the kids in the classes. The kids love Stan! I could barely get uninterrupted time to speak with him. The kids were relentless with their enthusiasm for either completing a "Mission" or asking for a little help with their robots "code". This impressed me even more. My son began his journey the beginning of Summer 2013, attending classes eight times a month. In that short amount of time he has gone from an interest in computers to developing code and furthermore being excited about it. My sons enthusiasm spans even further from the classroom as (per Stans guidance for me and my kid begging me) I have purchased everything he needs to develop at home. With that being said, I have gone to my sons room on a few Saturday mornings to find my son NOT playing Xbox but instead programming on his laptop telling me "Daddy I almost completed this mission, look at this"! If you are looking for somewhere your kid can learn skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives, I highly recommend that you enroll them at Great Minds Robotics. Neither you or your kid will be disappointed.

I was challenged to look honestly at myself, my patterns, and the kind of person I am committed to being. One of the biggest takeaways for me was the opportunity to reflect deeply on my values and the way I want to show up in my life. The impact of this experience extends beyond me. My daughter will grow up in a household where both of her parents are committed to doing the work, growing, and living intentionally. That alone makes this experience invaluable. The leaders and staff may never fully know the ripple effect they create, but I can confidently say they made a difference in my life and in my family's future. If you're willing to show up, participate, and be open to growth, this workshop can be a truly powerful experience. I'm grateful for what I learned, the people I met, and the opportunity to be part of it I wish i could do a 10 star review

I went in hoping to gain a better understanding of myself, but I left with so much more than that. I walked away with a deeper awareness of who I am and understanding the ways my past experiences and unresolved trauma have been shaping my thoughts, relationships, and decisions for years. What stood out to me most was that this experience wasn't about fixing anything that was "wrong" with me, but rather it was about helping me recognize my own power, uncover patterns and beliefs that were no longer serving me, and giving me the tools to choose a different way forward. The work was challenging, emotional, and eye opening, but it was also incredibly healing. Ariya created a space where I felt safe, supported, seen, and empowered to do the work. Through the process, I gained a level of self awareness and now have a much better understanding of myself, my emotions, triggers, and patterns that have been holding me back. I've been able to apply what I learned to both my personal life and my career. My relationships have improved, my communication has become more intentional, and I find myself approaching challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and self trust. My advice is simple - trust the process and be willing to show up fully!! The growth, healing, and transformation that are possible on the other side are far greater than I ever could have imagined. I am incredibly grateful to Ariya and the entire EAC team for creating such a powerful experience. It was truly one of the best things I could have ever done for myself, and I know the lessons and breakthroughs I gained will stay with me for the rest of my life. I am forever grateful to the people who introduced me to this work

It only added to my stress and anxiety that revolved around school and writing. We all knew something was very wrong but I never fit into any of the more commonly known learning disabilities. I started seeing a new therapist and psychiatrist who worked closely together. They suggested that perhaps I may have something called Written Expressive Disorder. This happened to be the break through that was needed. My grandmother delved into research about the disorder and came across something called an Educational Therapist. From there we discovered the amazing Dr. Shannon Kroner. I met with Dr. Kroner and immediately started working with her. We worked together for a year. By the end of that year I went from barely being able to write a single paragraph to writing a college level three page paper with confidence! I signed up for a religious studies class at Pasadena City College and finally experienced educational success on my own. Without the help of Dr. Kroner I never would have gained the confidence in my ability to write anything longer than three sentences or reach academic achievement independently.

They have had such a wonderful experience here and it is their favorite part of each and every day. Veronica and the rest of the staff do an incredible job of tailoring an academically oriented yet fun & creative curriculum for each individual child. They do a wonderful job of challenging the kid,s yet also helping to build their confidence. I love that they not only work to improve their mandarin language skills, but also writing and math. Each week there are special activities like cotton candy making / boba making days or other fun activities like play doh day or lego day that our kids look forward to all week long. They are also very flexible with our needs and schedule changes and have a wonderful space that is clean, safe, and beautiful. We cannot recommend Leap Dragon highly enough and would encourage anyone interested to at least give their program a trial. We did a trial last year and are so happy we did. We visited 2 other chinese immersion programs and while they were also good, we feel that Leap Dragon had the best balance of caring teachers, a nurturing learning environment, and an affordable price.

For those of you looking for a place that will help your kids out with school, this is one of the best and most unique places out there. Unlike Kumon and Sylvan, Homework Bound focuses on the homework the children bring home rather than bombarding them with additional work and exercises. The teachers help the students understand their homework first and reach the root of the problem that way. Thus, those who need some extra focus can get that and those who need additional guidance can receive that as well. The program focuses on organization and time-keeping skills that will help the children with their homework and can also be applied elsewhere even after they leave the center. The teachers are great, caring, funny, and also focusead. They are chosen very carefully and put a lot of heart into what they are doing. Mr. Vesagas, the director, is also a very caring man who devotes so much of his time to his program and the children. He is extremely passionate about helping each child individually and always makes sure that they stay on track in terms of finishing their work. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some extra tutoring for your child. While this isn't a "day-care," it is a great alternative to it. Bring your child home in the evening with their homework finished and enjoy some very much needed family time. :)
