This is a very honest and thorough review . As I was a former client for a few years . The reason why I was using them was for location wise and nothing else . There was quite a few events when the have misplaced my items but managed after a few days to get hold of it. So they are not organized at all. They also overdid it with their stain remove in one of coats , and I noticed a white blotched against an expensive dark green wool coat that I recently took out of my wardrobe to wear . I also have to say that there were times when I was there and I would hear people complaining and are worried that the dry cleaners have lost their items and I would think to myself they might have misplaced it like they did with my dry cleaning. But still who wants to be on their last nerve waiting for their dry cleaning to be found ? Funny , that after a few visits , I became that client that lost a garment with them . And the best part is I paid fully for all of my garments , and they wouldn't allow you to pick up your garments unless you fully pay for them , so if one garment is missing you still need to pay the total invoice of your whole dry cleaning . So I paid for my whole invoice including the garment that they lost . I went back and forth with their owner who was playing the victim and blamed it on his staff and a particular " black girl" , he did not take the responsibility . He then went on that he has lost garment in the past and would compensate clients with a tailored one made for them and if I wanted that option or a refund. I said I wanted a refund . A year later and I never got that refund . Also I want to point out his google reviewers are friends and employees , he has an employee who always leaves good reviews on their google review and I find this unethical . This is an irresponsible and an unethical dry cleaning service, please think twice before taking your clothes there . There now a lot of options in the area , I would strongly advise against using this business ..
Just an update: why on earth would I make up a story of losing a garmet and posting on yelp ? And thank you for giving me the time of your day to respond with lies. This is what I am talking about . The owner of this establishment has the time to attack clients . I have emails to proof that you have lost my garmet . And if I were fabricating reviews , I could see similar people left similar reviews . Stay away from this horrible business . Liars , unethical and cheaters.
How can a business like that be built on lies ? When you cannot even have the common courtesy to call nor even apologize. And for you to lie about the lady counting the garment and they were correct , that's a lie , she was in shock when she found one missing ! Aren't you even ashamed of yourself ?
I have given you over a month and you never found the garmet and you even said you wanted to put it through insurance ! How can you come up with such a lie ? read more
