I was able to leave work and make it home prior to his arrival and he showed up on time, which is NOT the norm for any technician who has been sent out from a home warranty company that I've encountered. I showed him where the appliance was and he had it up and running in less than an hour! He confirmed that the unit was cooling and answered all questions I had prior to his departure. They said they could send someone out to look at the issue and I agreed. Moore's never told me that they'd charge me to have the technician come out and what the rate would have been. It was $160 for the technician to IMOverify what I already knew in 20 minutes. When I pressed the owner about not telling me up front, he told me it's his practice not to mention service call charges and labor charges unless the client asks and that I should have expected to pay. That's bananas, imo. We agreed on $100, and I went with another contractor who told me everything upfront without games.,

She told me a technician would contact me. And just a few moments later, I did get a phone call from a technician who asked me pertinent questions and obviously knew what he was talking about. The technician worked with me and met me at a time that I could get away from work. He showed up exactly when he promised. Being that he was very knowledgeable, he had the issue resolved in record time. The charges were extremely reasonable, especially considering that this was done on a day of very inclement weather when most companies were considering it an emergency only day. In short, in the future, I will not hesitate to call them for any plumbing needs that I may have.
