When we called them about it they assured us that it would settle after a couple of weeks or so. After one month it had not improved at all so we called them to say we would like to return it. They refused to give us a refund so we accepted an exchange for another carpet. Despite this experienced we decided to give them another try for our living room rug. We were dealing with a very helpful, pleasant salesperson. This time we were ready to purchase a rug priced at $9000. When they put it on the floor for us to view we saw that it also had bubbles and bumps and was not lying flat. Because of our previous experience we queried the salesperson about it who was answering our questions, very possibly to our satisfaction. But we never got to hear what she wanted to say to us because the owner had been listening in on our conversation came over to tell us about all his previous clients and that he was irate that we had questioned the quality of his product. We were patiently waiting for him to end his tirade so that we could continue with our salesperson but the owner continued with his rant and became insulting. We decided to leave and just as we were walking out the door he hurled a RACIST remark at us. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. THE OWNER IS A BIGOT.

I should have read Yelp before I jumped in and made a purchase. Here's my story:…read more We bought carpet for our 4 bedrooms on Boxing Day 2019. We explained that we were doing a renovation and that we needed to proceed with 2 rooms at a time. They agreed and told us to order all rooms at once, due to dye lots, and they would have no problem keeping the second half (2 rooms) until we were ready. All we had to do was pay the full amount - carpet and installation - in advance. We did have to reschedule once the original installation. They were accommodating and they came to install the carpet in the first 2 rooms - in March 2020. We chose a carpet with a pattern and saw that the carpet didn't match in the 2 rooms (the pattern was turned a quarter turn). We spoke with the installer who, by the way, was amazing, and realized that it was the shop owner, Kam, who had given him these instructions. In addition, one of the rooms had an issue and the guy who measured had to come see for himself - he measured incorrectly (12" off). This happened the week of Covid-19 being declared a pandemic, and all stores closed. We sent emails/messages asking why the 2 rooms could not match and how can they fix it. All I got back was a phone call from Kam yelling and insulting me saying that he's been in the business 30 years and the carpet was installed perfectly. We inquired why the carpet could not match and he hung up on me. Fast forward. September 2020. We were ready to have people come into our house to finish the renovation. At this point, my wife was tired of the mess that she was willing to live with the carpet in the 2 rooms the way it was. We went to the store. Obviously, Kam was still angry that we had asked him to try and "fix" the carpet in the 2 rooms so they match, as he continued his yelling, throwing insults and telling us to "shut up" and that he's been doing it for 30 years. We were the ones who was wrong, according to him. We said that we are the clients and we should have been given the choice....given that it has a pattern that we wanted to have matching in all rooms. We left the store with a date for the last 2 rooms. Since he had all my money, I had no choice. They called the day before the installation and they told us the installer would be at our house between 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. Later the same day, they called my wife to change the time to 8:30 am. She said that we would not be ready at that time and that we could be ready for 9:30 am and they agreed. The next day, the installer came precisely at 8:30 am. I explained to him that we had the appointment for 9:30 am. It didn't seem like he knew the install time had been changed. Kam, the owner, called my wife at 9:32 am as we were going to the door to let the installers in. He was yelling and insulting her asking why we hadn't opened the door and telling her to "shut up." We tried to explain that the installer came early and he hung up. We opened the door and the installer was not there. We checked our security cameras. He left precisely at 9:30 and 4 seconds. Where did they go? We spoke with Steve. He arranged for the installer to come the next day. The installer apologized for what happened and said they had another appointment the previous day. They started installing the first room - there was a problem. The carpet was too short again! They apologized and had to put a patch/seem in the closet again. When it came to the fourth and final room, there was nothing this great installer could do. The fourth room just didn't have enough carpet...period. They called the store and told them they were way too short and they would have to order new carpet (different dye lot). We didn't want to deal with the store/Kam and the installer dealt directly with them. A week later, the installer returned and did a great job installing the carpet in the last room. This is not the kind of store or people you want to deal with. They tried to save money by ordering too little carpet and patching everything. Also, they can certainly use a lesson in manners. 9 month later (July 2021): One room's carpet is fraying (see photo). They refuse to repair unless I remove the negative review. Kam's mouth is dirtier than a toilet. Please read the other reviews here to see that I'm not alone. 0 Stars if I could!

Memories of Soho My Beautiful Flooring - I am very sad to be writing this review of…read moreKhayeri/European Flooring. Four years ago, I decided to replace the laminate flooring in my condo with something easy care but beautiful. I chose Memories of Soho (luxury vinyl) offered and had it installed in the fall of 2020. The floor did indeed look lovely. At first. Imagine my distress when, after less than a year, the joins in several areas started lifting. I am not talking about movement but actual lifting at the joins and plank damage. I called Dean (Wasam, the original salesperson had moved on). He and Kerwin made a site visit. They claimed never to have seen this issue before and determined that the fault lay with my installer. Their click system was infallible if installed properly. They agreed to assume some of the costs for the damage and, after spending several thousand dollars more, about 40% of my flooring was replaced by a certified Khayeri/European Flooring installer. I was assured that now my problems would be over. And the floors did again look great. For a year. Then the same thing happened. Again, I called and Dean (He left the company shorty after) and then Kerwin visited again. Kerwin used a bottle of glue and made some improvements but the damage to the planks is permanent, and the floor is no longer beautiful and never will be. Inga (Dean's replacement) explained that this time the problem was low humidity. I got a long explanation about how to use humidifiers and dehumidifiers and was reminded of the terms of the lifetime warranty. If I want the floor repaired, I'll have to pay. Again. By the way, I have owned two houses and this condo for 12 years before I purchased this flooring and have never had a problem with flooring before. This is very sensitive flooring. So--buyer beware. If your home is ever too humid, or too dry or ...you may very well have problems every few months. Call the company immediately and Kerwin can glue things down before there is too much damage. Good luck. Me? I am not prepared to pay a few thousand dollars every other year, so I am now saving that money to buy a better floor from a better company. Tove F
