They came out to give an estimate, at which time they confirmed that they could match the texture to the rest of the ceiling and scheduled the work for a few days later. They showed up right on time to begin work. I stayed out of their way while they were doing their job, and about 2 and a half hours later, they said I could go down and look. I couldn't believe how good it looked! I could barely tell there had ever been a hole there! The work this company does is fast, efficient, extremely competitively-priced, and truly artistic. We unfortunately now have new (unrelated) damages to fix in our home, and we will be calling Artistic Drywall to do the work.

From the initial appointment, James walked us through the steps and was very polite and accurate with the all the information he gave us. He did a rough sketch what it would look like and answered all of our questions that we had. Mike completed the framing part of the basement and he was an awesome guy. My 3 year old daughter really took to him and kept asking when she got up if Mike was coming over this morning. He spent time talking with my wife and children and was very friendly. This is a huge to have this kind of bond with people coming into your house every day. After this the next steps of the process went smoothly from HVAC, plumbing, drywall and painting. Leah and Jon were awesome with communication during the whole process. Leah would email us on a regular basis to let us know who was going to be coming over the next day and what the next steps were. Leah would also get with us to schedule the city inspection to make sure it was a good time for us as well. Jon would stop in and check on the progress which I found to be awesome from an owner. Most larger companies wouldn't do this as you would never see the owner, not the case with Buckeye Basements. They ended up only coming by a couple of hours of the course of two days. After a week of no shows or any phone calls, I called the owner to ask when they were going to finish. He said they were done and any minor work that needed done, my painter should finish up. It cost me $1100.00 to hire a finish drywall company. Also I spent an additional $500.00 on a lift to get drywall upstairs because he did not realize he couldn't get 12ft sheets of drywall up the stairs. Employees very dirty and shady. Needed a couple of items fixed- roof vent and disposal. Not urgent, and it ended up taking a month…read moreor so for them to get the jobs actually done, due to scheduling and weather, which was fine. I'm sure if I'd said it was urgent they'd have tried to come sooner. They came out a week or so after I called to check things out and give me a quote. That guy, Matt, and the later handyman were friendly and efficient. Then another few weeks till they came out. I got the disposal and they installed it, plus added a plug under the sink and fixed the wall switch. Took an hour or so. This is the only handyman our dogs haven't barked at when they got here, and never did. He said he has dogs, but sometimes ours go nuts no matter what, on just hearing or smelling a stranger. The roof took maybe half an hour. Again, professional and efficient. Prices seem a little high to me, but it's been awhile since I hired anyone so this may be the new normal. And I used to be able to do some of this stuff but can't now, so, I have to pay someone sometimes. Worth it to have it taken care of.

John was also very patient when going over our color choices and concerns about settling cracks in some walls. Saying as a standard practice he fixes that sort of thing (which is actually stated in his quote). From the start we pretty much knew we were going to use GPG Painting. When the work started they were very careful to lay drop cloths and cover all of our furniture with plastic. At the end of the first day they have most of the work completed and my wife and I looked it over very closely after they had left. We couldn't find a single problem. The next day they finished the work and again, we could find not fault in the workmanship. I would highly recommend GPG Painting to anyone who wants a headache free paint job.
