We stopped into this Egan's not expecting much of a selection. It's small. Were we wrong! What a great selection of both wine and booze from well known brands to craft artisans. Brian was working, and his knowledge of the wines and alcohol was encyclopedic. I could spend days in Egan's just wandering around looking at what's for sale and admiring the antique decanters on display. I had too much fun and bought too many bottles of vodka. 5 stars for 2 out of 2 experiences Thank you for helping me last month with a frantic order from a local restaurant without a liquor license (on-site delivery of Jameson, sweet vermouth and a jar of cherries in a flash) and again today for the long distance request for a special b-day delivery (and selection) of an Italian bottle or two. We used Egan's to cater our rehearsal dinner and they were amazing to work with. They special ordered beverages that were special to us that are not in stock normally, delivered ahead of schedule, and helped us order the perfect amount for our ~100 person event. They helped set up the drinks with plastic tubs and ice, and gave us a number to call should we need a top up of anything (although, we didn't need to use it since their initial estimates were right on point). I can't say enough nice things about the team at Egan's. We recently had a large home graduation party. Egan's delivered ice, the keg, and assisted us in selecting the the mix of wine, spirits and beer. The also provided very competitive prices. Brian & staff really on the ball-- had a big backyard party, gave them a few details--type of crowd, age group, etc.-- and they told me what wines/liquors I should get. They delivered, and when I needed more ice & wine, they were there in minutes. They even supplied a terrific bartender, who couldn't have been nicer. read more

Best service. They've done the liquor for every party I've had and if I didn't like something or had too much they always take back with no questions asked. Prompt, friendly delivery and if I need more ice it's there in two minutes. Prices are super competitive. read more

Egan's is situated about a block from the Spring Lake train station and a block from the Chateau Inn & Suites, our home for the weekend. On the way to the hotel from the train station on Thanksgiving Day, we discovered that Egan's was actually open. Brilliant! We had dinner reservations at a BYOB place, so we were able to pick up a bottle of wine at Egan's. We were struggling with what to get and the cashier was very helpful. He recommended several bottles and really seemed to know his stuff. We ended up going with a Spanish white and we were very happy with it. I am taking one star off for the prices; most of the wines are at least $14/bottle. But they also have liquor, beer, and even cheese, crackers, and meats in a mini fridge by the register. read more

This past summer I bought a couple of bottles of red wine and a case of heineken from this liquor store while visiting friends down the shore for a dinner party, the pink guy behind the counter who I never met acted like he was my best friend and was giving me the deal of the century by knocking a lousy dollar off of each over priced item I bought, spent around $80, when I got to my friends we opened the wine, first bottle was ok, second one bad, tried to let it breath in a decanter, no use, vinegar, later after dinner we found out the beer was skunked too, store was closed by then and had to leave early the next morning, so just ate the cost never complained, why make a fool out of myself? found out next time I was down the shore from other locals that this place keeps bottles of wine on top of the hot wine & beer coolers inches away from the ceiling because they have no storage room and also has beer delivered to the front of the store outside on the side walk where it sits in the sun all day until there's room to move it into the coolers, that explains everything, 1 star is too much, will never go back! Egan's in Spring Lake Heights is my go-to place for the good stuff. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant, and the prices are right. I live about 5 minutes away, but they deliver to me when I'm busy cooking or getting ready for company. I'm not sure what their delivery area is, but give them a call. Bryan and Rich are awesome. They now have a second store a few times away. If you are entertaining and the liquor and/or wine have to be right, give Egan's a call. You won't be disappointed. read more

Great delivery liquor store for the Jersey Shore area. I send a few wine and liquor baskets out every year and I always count on these guys to work up something nice and appropriate for the recipient's taste - working within a budget and getting it delivered quickly. Very helpful on picking out wines, liquors, and making suggestions on what's available or trendy, too. They wrap it nicely and their prices are very good. read more

Egan's stocked our bar for our wedding in October of 2017. They were extremely responsive, very easy to work with and were very reasonable in accommodating all of our requests. This entire aspect of our wedding went off without a hitch. They delivered everything promptly day of and were on standby in case we needed to stock anything back up.
