I said I don't care, usually the owner gives me a 10% discount because I buy a great deal of alcohol here. She was a stone faced bitch who was clearly unfamiliar with how to service a customer, especially a good customer. I guess with the pandemic, a lot of liquor stores are feeling entitled because their numbers have gone up! But it will not always be like that, and hey there are other options. Liquor stores in general run the gamut from selling hard stuff, beer and wine. There are always specials available to entice the customer that these prices are lowest in the county or as permitted by law. Not true. I must also comment on the staff. Does anyone there smile? The feeling is that you buy what you need, bring it up to the counter, pay for it with minimal interaction from the owners/staff.
