She was empathetic and never ever judgmental, as much as I was judging myself at the time. She was unflagging in her optimism while keeping me grounded with enough optimism to go on but never with crazy expectations. I felt grounded in hope; enough to keep going. Dr. Woo was deeply knowledgable in every way. We had a couple unexpected pivots and she was always prepared with another course of action. There was always another option, another way, to get us to where we wanted to be. I really appreciated how much she loved practicing her craft by the joy she genuinely displayed when we had a good breakthrough. Rebecca, her nurse, was thorough and compassionate. She has seen it all but still was patient enough to guide me through every new step of my journey. The clinic was modern, clean, and calm. I felt at ease every time I came, even when there were days when the outcome was not so good. The wait was always manageable, and I never felt like they ran late. Every staff member always smiled and greeted me warmly, and the phlebotomy team was excellent. The monitoring appointments were very easy to schedule. We were coming from an hour away and they accommodated our schedule every time so we could avoid the worst of LA traffic. I never once regretted picking the office even though it was an hour away because I felt like I was getting the best care possible. We paid out of pocket for our care and felt immensely stressed the entire time because it was all of our savings and we did not have anything to spare. Due to my body's many surprises and unexpected turns, we needed more care than we had the financial resources for. Mid way through my mock cycle, I literally said we have to stop because we don't have any more money, and Dr. Woo left the room to speak to her team. Needless to say, we didn't have to stop. We were able to keep going thanks to everyone's coordination and support. I felt like the whole team was there to get me to a positive outcome, not to nickel and dime everything. Given all that Dr. Woo did for us, we truly felt like we did everything we could and we have no regrets. New patients coming into see Dr. Woo should be prepared for a complete care experience by a hands-on physician who will do her own ultrasounds and call you herself. You will feel supported every step of the way and you will be grounded in realistic hope.

She compassionate of our wishes to have a family and was patient with us as we had to go through dealing with endometriosis and PCOS before getting the green light for our IVF transfer. Her bedside manner was so reassuring and positive that we could do this even when I was so afraid of failure during the IUI, egg retrievals, PGT testing, transfer, and post transfer monitoring. We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Woo's help in starting our family. Dr. Woo transferred for us in January and monitored us for 6-8 weeks before referring us to a great OBGYN nearby. Our baby girl arrived in October thanks to Dr. Woo!

As you can imagine, most people never expect to deal with fertility issues and when they have to, it is nerve wracking at best. That being said, we were blessed to have worked with Dr. T, Mei who was my main point of contact, and truly the whole team. Dr. T is not only very professional and knowledgeable, but he's very personable as well and he has a way of putting one at ease. As an excellent doctor should, he covered all of his bases at every step, took everything into consideration, and without ever being pushy, he made sure we never gave up hope no matter how defeated we felt. Ultimately, this wonderful man has made our dreams come true and we're forever grateful! All I can say is thank you for everything and should you choose to work with this doctor, you'll be in the best of hands.

I'm 38 with unexplained infertility and male factor infertility. I started at a local clinic in…read morePortland, Oregon and had a very standard experience: one egg retrieval, generic protocol, and we got 13 mature eggs, 2 blasts, and 0 PGT-A normal embryos. No additional testing or changes were recommended for a second cycle. That's when I started looking out of state and was referred to Dr. Kuo. This review is not just because I'm now pregnant. Even if I wasn't, I would be saying the exact same thing about the level of care I received. Dr. Kuo is the most meticulous and detail-oriented doctor I've ever worked with. Nothing is brushed off, nothing is "good enough," and nothing is done just to move things along. He holds himself to an extremely high standard, and you feel that as a patient in every single decision that's made. It's very clear that he cares deeply about getting it right, not just getting you through a cycle. Before my second retrieval, he did additional testing on my husband that my previous clinic never even mentioned. We found very high sperm DNA fragmentation, which we treated with three months of Chlomid before moving forward. During my retrieval cycle, I was monitored extremely closely and my protocol was adjusted in real time. The difference in results was honestly shocking. We went from 2 blasts and 0 normal embryos to 21 mature eggs, 9 blasts, and 3 PGT-A normal embryos. Before transfer, he also found a uterine polyp that my previous clinic missed, which I had removed. My first transfer cycle was actually canceled due to bleeding and not being an optimal uterine environment. I fully believe many clinics would have just proceeded anyway. Dr. Kuo did not. We adjusted, waited, and did it right. The second transfer was successful. At 8 weeks pregnant, I had a scary bleeding episode, and this is another area where Dr. Kuo stands out. He was in direct communication with me every few hours for days, giving clear instructions and actually monitoring the situation in real time. I never felt like I was on my own. The communication model is unlike anything I've experienced in healthcare. You are in a group text with Dr. Kuo and your coordinator, and you can reach them at any time. That level of access and responsiveness makes an incredibly stressful process feel manageable. The clinic as a whole operates at that same level. Dr. Kuo personally performs every ultrasound and you meet with him at every single appointment. You are seen on time. You are never wondering who you're going to get or waiting weeks for answers. There is a level of consistency and accountability that is very rare in this field. My coordinator Eliana was amazing. So organized, so calm, and completely on top of everything. Blue, Clarissa, and Lizeth were also incredible. They knew my case, they were involved, and they genuinely cared. It never felt like I was just another patient moving through the system. If you feel like something is being missed, if you've had a failed cycle with no real explanation, or if you want a doctor who is actually thinking through your case instead of running a standard protocol, go see Dr. Kuo. Traveling out of state was 100% worth it.

We saw multiple doctors across LA, went through countless tests, and still had no clear answers as to why we couldn't get pregnant. It was one of the most frustrating and lonely experiences we've ever been through. Finding Dr. Kuo was truly the turning point for us, and without a doubt, the best decision we made. From day one, his entire team made us feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. Everyone in the office is so warm and kind. Eliana was always there for me, whether it was answering questions, offering reassurance, or just being a steady support throughout the process. What really stood out to me was how much they respected our time and emotions. I never had to wait more than a few minutes for appointments, and every visit felt intentional and personal. Dr. Kuo walked with us through every single step of the IVF journey. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also deeply compassionate. He answered my texts even after hours and on weekends, which meant so much during moments of anxiety and uncertainty. We never felt alone in this process. There aren't enough words to fully express how grateful we are for him and his team. If you're feeling burnt out, discouraged, or losing hope trying to find the right doctor, please don't give up. I know how hard it is. But finding the right team can change everything.
