Party-sized egg rolls are good. Crispy, tight, and not too loaded with too much gunk! The way I like my rolls! You get 8 for about $18.You get 4 sauces. Don't ask for 1 extra! This truck is fantastic! The chicken eggs rolls are my favorite. Pork is decent too - haven't had the veggie one. I'll often times buy 3 egg rolls, then reheat them in our Air Fryer a day or so later. Makes great leftovers. Their chicken fried rice is also pretty good. But I think their egg rolls are really the star of the show. Pricing is fine, not great but I've seen much worse. I highly recommend this truck. read more

I see Eggroll Queens truck(s) all over the place and was excited to try it as they have veggie egg rolls but boy was I disappointed by the entire interaction and the eggrolls themselves. She was at a food truck event and was the only one working her truck so a wait is to be expected. When I walked up she saw but ignored me. She then yelled through the closed glass she needed a minute at this time the line grew by a lot. She then saw this a visibly rolled her eyes. Do you not want business? When she finally opened the window she said yeah what do you want. No apology and didn't listen to my order. I wanted two veggie egg rolls and one pork. She says so two veggie and one chicken. When she handed it to me she had put all of them in the same box so I asked how I was supposed to know what was what she said they are labeled. The veggie were in fact labeled which I'm almost positive was permanent marker on the egg rolls!!! Never in my life have I seen someone write on food like that pretty sure that is not okay (I did take that part off before eating it. She did give one sauce per egg roll which was nice. The veggie literally was almost all vermicelli noodles and almost no veggies. Very minimal cabbage and carrots. Same with my mom's pork it was almost all noodles and there was absolutely no seasoning at all so they were extremely bland. I was venturing in Lakeville and wanted a snack to share... they were parked in the Fleet Farm parking lot. This was my second time having Eggroll Queen. I didn't love the first time, but I wanted to try again in case I was wrong. I really want to love them as they make a chicken egg roll! Thank you for this as I don't eat beef or pork, but it needs a little soy/ salt or garlic to flavor it a little more. Or maybe it just needs a good fish sauce to dunk it in vs the sweet chili sauce. We make our own turkey eggs rolls at home and make sure the flavor is bold like top egg roll restaurants in MN. Keep rocking and keeping these big egg rolls affordable at $5 each and maybe next time I will bring my own fish sauce to dip. read more

I wish it would have been better. The jumbo egg rolls were super dry- the pork in the egg rolls was so dry I could barely swallow it. I prefer the thicker eggs rolls with the thicker wrapping. These were not a favorite The fried rice I threw most of it away. It reminded me of some rice that Cub foods might serve in their hot food section. First time trying eggroll queen and I left disappointed. They're overstuffed, which is great, but unfortunately the filling isn't where it needs to be. First, it doesn't seem to be able to decide what kind of eggroll it is. It has elements of Vietnamese and Thai but also Chinese American. The end result is it's not great at anything. The wrapper is wheat like Chinese but there is almost no cabbage- which is the main flavor in a Chinese roll. A generous amount of pork but it's ground from a lean cut so they come off dry. The rice noodle and carrots are more reminiscent of Vietnamese but there isn't much seasoning. Not the strong flavor of a roll from Que Viet or Quang. Also not served with fish sauce. Was really hoping for a traditional Chinese American eggroll. Good ones are impossible to find these days. Something like Nankin from the 70s and 80s. Guess I need to keep looking. read more

I finally had a chance to eat from this food truck, now that they have a Minneapolis permit. It showed up at our Farmers Market on East Lake St. Well I did order two eggrolls and the Queens Menu, chicken fried rice, eggroll and a drink. First off, I thought the eggrolls tasted crunchy and great tasting. Very fresh and light chicken flavor. But the fried rice had to much soy sauce in it. And it made the rice very dark. The flavor was just soy sauce only. But, overall three stars from me! read more

Stopped at the West St Paul truck tonight, talked to the nicest gentleman, got an order of chicken fried rice and a 3-pack of pork egg rolls (all to split, and glad we did - sooo much food). The rice was fluffy and flavorful, and the egg rolls were super crispy on the outside / tender and stuffed to the gills inside. I'm so glad we tried something new! read more

I live by a few life rules: If the Tootsie Roll is on, dance like crazy. If an Eggroll food truck is available, run, don't walk. I literally ran to this truck when I saw it. An eggroll made fresh for $5 or 3 for $15. I think 3 is the way to go. We ordered, and they gave us a waiting-flashy-number disk so we could get out of the cold (and drink a beer at Bald Man Brewing) while we waited. It did not take long. We hopped to the front of the line (which is always satisfying) and received our two hot-from-the-oil eggrolls. They were greasy, crunchy, and really delicious. They were located at the Burnsville farmers market. I'm not much of a sauce person but the sauce was pretty good. I will say their chicken egg roll was DRY. I know that grease doesn't equal moist meat but the pork felt pretty dry too. They are MASSIVE so you're definitely getting a bang for your buck. After seeing the truck parked at Lexington and Larpenteur several times,I tried it. I got 3 chicken egg rolls. They were handed to me before the cashier had finished giving change.
