After patching up our old roof the last few years, it was finally time for a full replacement…read more After 32 years in the South Texas sun ...and with hurricane season coming, we needed a roof we could count on. I researched different options online, comparing asphalt and metal, and kept seeing ads for Frontline Home Solutions. Their ads with Juan Curling stood out, and after checking their website, values, and practices, I decided to reach out. From the start, my experience with Frontline was excellent. Jazmin Sánchez, the representative who came out, clearly explained the process, the company's promises, and the financing options available. Before she left, I felt confident enough to sign the contract and put down a deposit. We chose Owens Corning Duration SureNail 30-year architectural shingles. Not only do they look great, but they come with a solid 30 year warranty and even helped lower my homeowners insurance premium. The package was all-inclusive: removal of old shingles, underlayment, new drip edge, ridge vents, replacement of damaged plywood or soffit/fascia (within limits), cleanup, and labor. The crews arrived on time, worked hard in the extreme heat, and finished the job quickly. The new roof looks fantastic. Could I have gone with a cheaper option? Sure. But with South Texas heat and the threat of hurricanes, I wanted quality, not shortcuts. The warranty, professionalism, and integrity of Frontline made the choice clear. They even lived up to their promise of $10 for every nail left behind. A special shout-out to Jazmin for her guidance and to Alfredo Salinas for overseeing the job. Both were attentive and ensured everything was completed to my satisfaction. I recommend Frontline Home Solutions. They kept their promises, delivered quality work, and gave me peace of mind with a roof built to last.

    Meraki Solutions - Safety Hazard

"WHO ARE WE? MERAKI!" That is their call-to-action chant. But the truth is that everyone who is and…read morewill ever be Meraki needs to know that you are part of a culture that rips off its' customer base. Meraki operates under the guise that it pays the highest commissions in the industry. Meraki is the only company that puts profit and commissions before their customers. If you are going to work there or are working there you need to know that every other company pays out its backends after the customer installs. Meraki can take up to 4 months to pay backends. They claim to pay 60% upfront but the truth is that they are paying the industry standard 30% upfront. Its just that their system is SO overpriced that Meraki's real commissions are your total commission times two. Because commissions are doubled, you keep half, Meraki keeps half, and the customer gets cheap panels for double the price they could have gotten good panels anywhere else. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. I worked for Meraki for 2 months. For 2 months I could not get an answer as to the type and specs of panels we were selling. For 2 months I was told "black on black monocrystalline panels". Meraki never divulged the type of panels because they did not want its agents to know that they were using inferior panels made in China with the highest degradation rate in the industry. No disrespect to China intended. When a customer goes solar the solar marketing company factors commissions into the customer's loan. This is how the installing company, the sales company, and the sales agents get paid. This is an industry standard and norm. What is not a norm is how Meraki does it. They are ruthless in the fact that a customer will pay $70,000 for a system that could be purchased anywhere else for $45,000. Meraki cannot be competitive because that operation is built to maximize profit and has forgotten that the customer comes first. It lures agents and lulls them into believing that they are helping their customers. I would challenge anyone, ANYONE (AGENTS AND CUSTOMERS) to do their homework before even THINKING of working for or going solar with Meraki. Meraki in fact has the highest base line in the industry. This means that Meraki has the highest prices when selling solar to its customers. The sales agent is made to feel to be part of a Meraki Lifestyle. It isn't later that they find out that the true Meraki Lifestyle is WAY over charging its customers and leaving its customers with high-priced low-quality system that will ultimately result in having to pay an electricity bill and a solar system bill. This is why Meraki has a hard time keeping it's sales agents. Agents can make so much more money by selling anywhere else. If you are a customer or an agent and have read this far, DO YOUR HOMEWORK. That's all I say.
