I found EH cakes on Yelp and went with Amanda because of the reviews so I am leaving my own review to let others know that she will NOT disappoint. I sent her a picture of what I had hoped for to go with our carousel-themed baby shower, and Amanda did an amazing job recreating the carousel cake we wanted. Our guests were impressed and everything was moist and delicious. I will DEFINITELY be using EH Cakes for future events!

In the last two weeks I ordered two cakes. A Swiftie-themed cake for a 10 year old Slumber Party. It was Oreo with Oreo filling. For my moms 70th b-day party was a black and gold chocolate cake with banana filling. The cakes were absolutely perfect! Not only did they both look stunning, but they also tasted amazing. My husband and I were moving nearby and I was frantically looking for someone to help me with my gender reveal, all I had were a few ideas and I was running out of time since we had sent out invites. Finding EH Cakes randomly on yelp was my best find yet. It was between this shop and a bakery I had been to previously and something about their initial reply vs EH Cakes made me go this route. The process of combining all my ideas and executing them into delicious cupcakes was great! Amanda was friendly every step of the process and an easy person to communicate with. Definitely recommend ordering your cake from this business business. Amanda is very quick on her responses. My sister had her baby shower on May 20th. I didn't find out until late May 7th that she had not ordered a baby shower cake yet. I quickly looked up reviews & saw EH cakes. I reached out on Monday & Amanda kindly said she could help me. She kept constant communication with me & made the cake how I wanted it. Not only did it look beautiful, or tasted great. My son, was diagnosed with ASD & is an extremely picky eater. I'm surprised even he ate some of the cake & asked me to take home the part he didn't finish at the shower. Per my sis, a lot of the guests let her know the cake tasted great & some even asked for second servings. read more

the sourdough tortillas were absolutely amazing! that is what hooked me at first! now i just recently tried the sourdough chocolate chip cookies and holy smokes! Cupcakes and Cake Pops were very well done. She packaged them beautifully for me to pickup and provided receipts. Prices are reasonable and tastes delicious. Got a ton of compliments. She personalized each cupcake as I wanted. The roads to get to her location was somewhat bumpy. Looked like the road was being paved so be careful driving there. EH Cakes are amazing! I recently purchased two cakes; one for my best friend's 25th and my daughter's 10th. I have to admit, the first cake for my best friend was a little dry as far as texture was concerned, but the taste was great! I definitely got a bang for my buck, I didn't realize the cake would have been as big as it was. My daughter's cake slightly larger, and was far from dry. It was very fresh and moist! (My favorite) As for my daughters cake, it was a win with 10 stars in my book. I was having trouble finding someone to do a glow in the dark/splatter/emoji themed cake. My daughter had a cosmic party at Sky High Sports in Mira Loma (Trampoline Park), I wanted to have the cake match the theme and Amanda was able to do just that! She definitely is great at listening to what your requests are, and either duplicating a picture you send her, or envision what you're envisioning. Oh and let's not forget the awesome iPhone made of fondant! I was able to send Amanda a screensaver that my daughter really likes, she put it on her own phone and printed out the screenprint of the iPhone icons with the screensaver I sent her and added it as an overlay on the fondant, with an apple icon/emblem on the back with glitter! My daughter bit the side of the phone because she didn't believe it wasn't real lol. I was so pleased with both outcomes. She works out of her home as a Licensed Baker, and is very flexible with payment options via Facebook, PayPal, or cash. I paid 50% of the cake as a deposit, and the remaining balance on the day of pick up or delivery. I was initially very impressed by her boxing and labeling of her cake! She's pretty great, I am so glad I found her! I have officially found "My Cake Lady" lol. read more

In 2015 I decided to start my own baking business at home so that I could still contribute to the family income and stay home to care for our young children. With the help of my adoring husband and my family to back me up, I obtained my business license and got to work. Since then, we've been doing nothing but baking and expanding! My wife clearly stated she needed a gluten free cake. Hours later, the business owner sent a follow-up text, even though the dietary requirement had already been discussed. After we sent the deposit, which was described as non-refundable, an additional $15 charge was suddenly added. I explained there was a misunderstanding and that we would rather not move forward. Instead of handling it professionally, the owner became defensive and dismissive. During the call, we were spoken to in a condescending and hostile tone. I responded in a condescending tone to match theirs, and the owner abruptly hung up. After the call, the owner later sent a text instructing us not to contact the business again, even though we had not called or texted back. The deposit was refunded, but the way the situation was handled was completely unprofessional. This was never about the additional $15. It was about honesty, transparency, and professionalism. Instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding, the owner doubled down, deflected blame, and personally attacked a customer. Even more concerning is that the owner's response tries to attack my character publicly instead of addressing the facts. They brought up a dealership review from eight years ago, which was simply about negotiating a vehicle purchase, to claim we "bully" businesses. This is irrelevant and clearly an attempt to discredit us rather than take responsibility. Based on this experience, it is clear that accountability does not exist at this business, and that they are more focused on trying to silence or detract from what occurred than taking responsibility. Readers can decide for themselves. Update: Additionally, after I responded to the original reply, the business owner edited their response and changed the story, context, and accusations in an apparent effort to further discredit me. I have attached screenshots showing the original version of the post for transparency. Update 2: The business owner previously responded by publicly sharing my private information. I reported the comment to Yelp, and Yelp removed it after determining it fell outside their Content Guidelines. In my opinion, publicly sharing a customer's private information is unacceptable.
