UBE Crinkle
Derek G.

These crinkle cookies are no joke. I got the calamansi, fruity pebbles, ube, and guava and they were all so good I had to come leave a review. The outside has this perfect little crunch and then the inside is just super soft, exactly how a crinkle should be. I hate when cookies are dry or taste like they've been sitting out forever but these always taste fresh every time, which is saying a lot. Flavor-wise they all go crazy. The calamansi is a little tangy which I loved, fruity pebbles is just fun and tastes exactly like you'd expect, ube is rich without being too sweet, and the guava one is lowkey my favorite. Honestly some of the best cookies I've had in a while. Already thinking about my next order. If you haven't tried these yet just do it, you won't regret it. Next time I will for sure try the Biscoff crinkle. It unfortunately was out of stock when I went by.

Came here for a last minute dessert for a family gathering and it was the first thing to be finished! When I told them it was from Kape Republik they all remember the Cerritos location from their crinkles and coffee. They had more options to choose and next time I know to pre-order more items :) def miss kape republik! Will be coming here more often when I come to visit Ontario!

Home away from home every time I come into the store, I always get greeted with a friendly smile! Also, just knowing I can get my favorite drinks/ food is special. Where my Filipino fam at!? When I get a sudden craving of Calamansi juice, this is my go to spot. This is a beautifully decorated little Café that sells coffee, baked goods, cakes, and also some food. My top drink is the Calamansi Ginger iced drink! Delicious! Parking is never an issue - come by and try their drinks!

Halo Halo Shake
Christie T.

Great HaloHalo! I really enjoyed it even after I received it through delivery. Came in a large cup with all the good mixings and layers of shaved ice, milk (your choice of 2% or oat), various sweetened beans, jellys, tapioca pearls, fruits and topped off with a scoop of ube ice cream. Chicken adobo bomb has a flaky crust similar to a croissant on the outside filled with shredded chicken seasoned as adobo. It wasn't bad. I enjoyed this flavored bomb better than the corned beef bomb. Corned beef bomb is the same crust as above. The inside is just corn beef and potatoes. I found the corned beef to be lacking flavor and it just tasted plain overall. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either? It was just meh. I really enjoyed their crinkle cookies. I order strawberry and lemon. It was bigger than I thought they would be. I loved how the cookie was crispy on the outside and very fluffy in the middle. It was super good coated with powdered sugar. I was excited to try their guava strudel as I love the guava rolls from Portos. These ones from Kape were amazing. I love that they sprinkle sugar on top of the crust to give it a bit more crunch. Ube cupcake with the flan on top wasn't quite hitting for me. The cupcake itself was really dry and the flan is not flan without the caramel sauce. You can taste the ube, but the cupcake itself received was really dry.

I remember coming here when it first opened, I'm glad to see they've expanded their menu. The drinks are delicious! The pastries specially everything Ube, guava and panda taste phenomenal. I highly recommend this place. My mom loves it too!

This place is a very nice Filipino-American style bakery with pastries, cookies, and very nice drinks selection. I got the cherry blossom matcha and it was amazing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the energy this place had with its good vibes and music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service here was great. K was super seeet and kind. She was kind and welcoming. You can tell this place is full of love and warmth. Can I just say I got the smore crinkle cookie and it left me wanting more!

This is the first time we've been to this establishment, but definitely not the last. The customer service is excellent. The coffee and pastries are great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is decorated nicely with a few tables to sit down and enjoy your coffee and pastry.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'll be definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.

Lahat masarap! The cookie butter ones are my favorite but i could eat everything. Tita on the cashier was also super warm and welcoming. Wish we lived closer, or better yet hope they open one in the bay area!

Filipino/American Cafe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small one so not very many tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It looks like they focus on desserts and fusion pastries. My favorite Ube & Buko pandan crinkle cookies and Buko Pandan cupcakes. They were sweet just how I like them. The price, not too bad. Pretty good I think considering the area. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered to go and we were out of there within minutes. If you like Filipino desserts I'd say this is one to check out.

Wow!!! I purchased their Ube Drink & Crinkle Cookies and I am beyond amazed at how fluffy/soft the cookies are (at least the fruity pebbles one, since I haven't tried the ube one yet). But man.... It's incredible! It's like a dream every-time I bite into it. Also, side note: I am quite a picky dessert person and when I experience a dessert that blows my mind ... which is incredibly hard to do, so I love to give praise when that happens. Shout out to Kape Republik with this cookie. I hope the recipe doesn't change. Today is March 11th, 2026 to note the date of the best batch made. Amazing job!

Banana Pudding Matcha

BEST MATCHA IN EASTVALE! MUST TRY THE BANANA MATCHA I have been travelling to Upland / Chino / Riverside for matcha but stumble upon this place when I was using the postal service next door. Both times I have been the staff are super lovely and attentive. I now can't stop going back for their banana matcha, it is to DIE FOR. So much better tasting than Starbucks or any of the chains in the area and get so much better value for money it is insane. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Today I had my dog with me and as it was hot asked for some whipped cream and they kindly gave it to us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now we will be back with the pup again!

8 inch, tall cake; Embossed florets & blueberry filled.

If you need a cake, look no further. My cake request was unique bc I wanted a blueberry filling which is not listed as one of their options. It was for a baby shower I was hosting. Carla was so helpful and patient. She walked me thru the possibilities and when I sent her a picture of the cake, she was surprised that it was a cake they recently made (I found it on Pinterest not their website). Serendipitous for sure. I honestly didn't have high expectation bc I had never ordered from this bakery before. But I was pleasantly surprised. The cake was moist and the buttercream vanilla flavor complimented the blueberry filling perfectly; delicious! It was exactly what I wanted and my guests agreed. I will be coming back for my next event. Thank you!

I'm a trucker and I've ordered from them through DoorDash twice in two weeks. I love ube and they offer a lot of ube flavored delights. My favorites are Ube Flan cupcakes and the ube brownie because they are not too sweet just perfect balance. The ube cheesecake is kinda good too the "crust" is a nice surprise and contrast to the soft ube part. Don't care for the tres leches- it just doesn't taste ube enough for me. Also ube shake isn't consistent with the ube flavor, this time on my second order it's less ube/ nutty flavor than before but still good, Anyway, can't wait to be back in town and order from them again. :)

We were on our way to visit my MIL for Mother's Day. We accidentally missed the 71 on-ramp since…read morethey changed it recently and we don't drive to the area very often. I decided I needed to take a detour to a coffee shop since we already kinda got lost. Deep Barrel Roasters & Creamery, is located in a small and old strip mall in old town Norco. Or at least I think it is. I'm not familiar with the area. I can tell you though, that navigation had us driving through newer developments and then the old part of Norco before we finally arrived. I thought we got even more lost at first. The place was actually pretty packed inside and after having our drinks and pastries, I can totally see why. The first half of the building is the cafe where you'll be greeted with some cute and funny coffee signs. There's two large shelves full of their own coffee beans of different roasts. They have a few small tables to sit and enjoy your orders, but note it is a bit of a tight fit in there. They also have a coffee bar where some people sat in front of the baristas. Past the cafe side is the creamery. I was in a rush and didn't have a chance to take a look. What we ordered; 1) Hot Mocha Rocha with soy milk - 5/5 stars. I forgot to ask for this as half sweet, but either way, it was absolutely delicious. Rich and very flavorful. 2) Iced Mocha Rocha - 5/5 stars. Just as delicious as the hot version. 3) pistachio muffin - 3/5 stars. This muffin had a generous amount of actual pistachio baked into the muffin itself which I liked, however, the muffin had more of an artificial pistachio flavor for me. I still ate it but I wasn't in love with that one. 4) chocolate croissant - 5/5 stars. This was such a hit, we ran out right away. Everyone in our group attacked these so fast. I have to say, I am SAD that I live so far from Deep Barrel Roasters & Creamery. They have a lot of pastries, ice cream including deep fried ice cream, and beverages. I absolutely loved this place and look forward to visiting them again. Next time, I for sure will grab a dozen or more to share with the family and bring some home, and we will definitely grab some frozen treats too. Deep Barrel, is a gem. Norco, sure is lucky to have them. They are a must if you are ever in the area.

I walked right past it and didn't notice Klatch whatsoever LOL. They just happen to be next by the bakery. This Klatch location has limited drink and snack selections from what I can tell, but glad to know they have the Patio Special. This drink is made with vanilla ice cream, their house made chocolate milk, espresso and a secret ingredient. All the ingredients work so well with one another. It's just an amazing creation! So smooth and creamy! Must get every time. What secret ingredient you ask? Sorry, we can't share. It's a secret! LOL Their Patio Special is a little bit thicker than most which I like. The expresso is a bit stronger than the ones I've tried in the past. Don't get me wrong, it was still very very good. Staff was great. They didn't have very many customers at the time. Service was very quick. Now that I know they are here, I will sure to be back for more Patio Special. Btw, they don't sell the Cinnamon Twist here which I am bummed about because it's the other item I usually get along with the Patio Special. It's all good. Maybe one day they will add it. Very straightforward, but really well balanced. If you've never had chicory coffee before, it has a deeper, slightly earthy flavor that stands out from a standard cold brew without being overly bitter. It feels inspired by Louisiana/New Orleans-style coffee rather than the super sugary "dessert coffee" trend that a lot of places lean into right now. What I especially appreciate is the price point. At around $5.75, it feels reasonable for a specialty coffee drink that still tastes unique and intentional.

The line was out the door, but I knew she'd love waking up to a nice cup of coffee, so the wait didn't bother me. I ordered coffee along with three ham and cheese croissants to go. When I got home, my wife was so happy. She ate part of her croissant but didn't finish it. My son did the same and only picked at the edges. I ended up finishing mine and the rest of my son's. About 8 hours later, after grilling dinner, both my wife and I suddenly became extremely sick. Severe stomach pain, nonstop trips to the restroom, and all the signs of food poisoning hit us hard. Our guest had just started eating dinner while my wife and I were both stuck dealing with the symptoms. The symptoms carried throughout the entire night and are still lingering. Both of us have been dealing with fevers, body aches, nausea, stomach cramps, and constant trips to the restroom. It completely ruined what started as such a special Mother's Day for our family. I normally don't leave reviews like this, but I felt it was important to share our experience. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, especially on a busy holiday, but I also hope food handling and quality control are looked into so no other families have to spend Mother's Day ending like ours did.

Parking is weird here. They share a parking lot with a nail salon and the on-site parking is limited and cramped. I pulled up with a spot open. I suffered later as it was tricky to reverse out but I survived. Lol. I guess you can park on the street but there are signs from the business regarding towing, so I was a bit ancy. Not sure how comfortable I would feel if I returned to stay and study for a few hours. Anywho, this establishment looks like its a house renovated into a coffee shop. Decent amount of tables and chairs to stay for a chat over coffee or a study session. Lots of seating outside as well. They also have a shelf of books, but I wish it wasn't tucked away making it hard to access if other customers are sitting right in front of it. As for the service and drink I would give it a 4. Service was friendly and I did get a few recommendations. I decided to get their vietnamese coffee and to their credit, it was decent. I come from GG/Bolsa which has the most authentic vietnamese coffees in Socal, so given this is out of that area, they still have a good recipe for viet coffee. The only thing was I wasn't allowed to get extra ice probably because of their recipe. Their normal ice level was fine. I also got a spinach feta croissant. I did like that they had a variety lof savory and sweet croissants. Although my croissant was warmed, the inside of it was not when I took a few bites. The flavor was also just okay, so I wouldn't get that again. All in all, I would return to try other drinks but be more cautious of where I park.
