As I stand in front of the Historical Ehrhardt Home in East Franklin California, I can't help to wonder what life was like living in the Elk Grove area over 200 years ago. There is so much history all around us !
John Ehrhardt was well known as a big time sheep rancher in the Elk Grove Area. He also raised wheat, alfalfa and raised cattle. This park sits where John Ehrhardt actually lived and is surrounded by 200 year old majestic oak trees !
The park is approximately 1.8 Acres in size and is part of the Cosumnes Community Service District. The play ground has slides , climbing structures, and swings.
