Wow. Flexible, respectful, efficient, patient. Really impressed…read more I'm a new patient as of today, and I'm so impressed with Crossroads that I had to post here (something I rarely do). One of my fillings fell out a few days ago, and my former dentist doesn't fit my schedule anymore. Kayla at Crossroads got me right in. Hygienist Lataysha and Dr. Friend determined they would apply a buildup but wait on a crown til I'd seen a root-canal specialist. My thought was, why bother with the buildup if it might be removed for a root canal? I clearly surprised them by declining the work, but they respected my decision. Kayla actually called the specialist and booked the appointment for me. But when we learned it wouldn't be for several weeks, I asked if I could get right back in the chair and go forward with the buildup. Dr. Friend agreed and after a short wait (shorter than I deserved, lol) and a *really* efficient session in the hot seat, I was on my way home in much better shape than when I arrived. Talk about flexible and patient! They respected my wishes to explore the possibilities, then took great care of me without saying, "I told you so!" I will be back if they'll take me. :-)

When you get there, they always seem not to be expecting you. Then once they get started, it seems they are rushing to do 5 things at once. Like how can I make the next appointment while your hands are still in my mouth, and the assistant is handing me the spit cup? Why don't you already know what I had done last time? I can tell you but not while there are 4 hands and all kinds of tools in my mouth, and someone handing me things. Slow down and understand that patients are not pros at this. We get dental work done once in a while and it's kind of difficult for us. We shouldn't be asked to multitask while under duress and while paying top dollar, just so you don't have to spend one extra minute with us. I'd cancel my next appointment but I bought a membership on the strength of the first visit (prompt response to a painful need) so I'm just stuck I guess. If you're ok with a bit of chaos and little roughness, she's very good. If not, go elsewhere.

Oh, and they held the $714 I had paid for a crown I never received hostage from March until November, until I asked for it back. As if that wasn't enough, they screwed up billing, never called me back when they said they would, and are currently trying to bill me for twice the amount I actually owe because they messed up with the insurance. This saga isn't yet over but I would encourage you to run, not walk, away from this place. They have one or two decent dentists but their inability to take responsibility for their mess ups, and their attempts to cheat patients, are beyond the pale.

Having severe dental anxiety and finding out you need to have your wisdom teeth out is never fun. I did have to schedule my appointment 5 separate times to get my teeth out. I had to cancel the first 4 because I was too afraid but the staff was very understanding each time and gave me the same support and took their time with me each time I came in. Everyone was kind and well informed. I felt like a priority and was treated like one. I ended up getting my teeth out on my 5th appointment and had a great experience. Dr Schwartz was the doctor that took out all 4 of my teeth. Natasha in post op was very kind and took fantastic care of me. Two days later I woke up in excruciating pain as my body was far more sensitive than usual in recovery. I called multiple times to ask questions and was helped promptly each time. That same day I was fit in for an appointment an hour after my call. One of the doctors even offered me a personal unopened water bottle as I was sensitive to tap water. I was given more pain medication which helped but made me sick. I called and was immediately given something to help with my nausea. The doctors and nurses at this practice really care about their patients and making sure they have the best experience possible when dealing with something that nobody really wants to deal with. I would 100% go here if I had to do it all over again. I was welcomed and informed and encouraged to call even if it was a slight concern, they wanted to make sure everything was okay. If you are someone with severe dental anxiety, this is the place to go. They can accommodate you and make this the experience that gets rid of the anxiety associated with dentists or surgery in general.

I understand that wisdom teeth extraction is a good pay out for insurance. I'm 58. There was nothing wrong with my wisdom teeth. Neither Dr. Schwartz or Dr. Vermani (Naylors Court Dental) have followed up with me after such a needless and painful experience. Why is it not ok to have a patient with no dental issues??
