Fantastic in every way Looking for a Dentist - Search no more Dr. Nancy is your new Dentist Incredible facility Knowledgeable - friendly staff I'm one of those guys who has a totally irrational fear (more of an aversion) of all things "Dentist." At 50 I've been so blessed to have great dental health, not even one cavity, and all my own teeth remaining except my wisdom teeth. I've been to a Dentist a few times in my life, other than for the wisdom teeth removal, for routine cleanings. Anyway, after recently experiencing some "tenderness" in one of my lower back teeth, my wife set up my appointment at Caton Dental. It's very convenient for us, located right around the corner from our home. So, I went with some trepidation, expecting the worst. From the moment I walked in my fears began to fade. The office is pleasantly decorated and really has a way of putting one at ease. It's crisp, clean and friendly; well lit and very contemporary. Think friendly and professional office environment without all the paper stuff laying around. It was very inviting! Crystal, at reception, smiling all the while, handed me an iPad and told me the office was paperless and I could use this to fill out my forms and sign in. SWEET! Three minutes - done. Next thing I hear my name called on the intercom, "BIll, you can come upstairs now." I walk up the steps to a very welcoming "treatment area." I'm greeted by a pleasant young lady who takes me for panoramic x-ray, carefully and kindly explaining the whole process every step of the way. Then I'm shown to the "chair." I was greeted immediately by Dr. Nancy, who immediately relieves my reservations with her friendly and professional manner and presence. I was immediately confident! After a thorough exam, Dr. Nancy carefully and methodically explained the situation and took all the time I needed to lay out her conservative treatment approach to my problem. Throughout the process, she was showing me exactly "what was what" on a large screen right in front of my eyes, with a huge view of the panoramic x-ray of my mouth. I'm a "techie," so the technology really helped. There was never a moment when I was unsure. That is so reassuring, especially at the Dentist. After Dr. Nancy explained the very conservative treatment plan, it was off to cleaning. Again I was greeted with a smile from a very pleasant staff member, I think her name was Sandy, who proceeded to clean and polish my teeth. Throughout this process she was pleasant, informative and very engaging. She discussed good dental health practices and made some recommendations about a few things I might do to maximize good dental hygiene practices. I have been a patient for 50 years. I did have a bad experience dealing with " Val". I tried to reschedule an appointment and she did not mention a no show fee. I then received a bill in the mail for $84! I only work part time in the Winter so this was hugely upsetting. I guess I will look for another dentist read more

I have been seeing Nancy Weiner for many years now. I am very much a chicken with anything going on in my mouth and she has done quite a bit of work to mine over the years. The office is friendly and Dr. Weiner is always like talking to one of my friends. She always takes the time to explain things and ask me if I'm ok. I can tell you that I used another dentist in the area and didn't have the same consideration with him. I totally recommend Caton Dental! read more

Real talk. Until today I hadnt been to the dentist in 14 years and was terrified at what I would be told about the state of my teeth and being judged for my inaction. Last night I got the worst pain of my life from my molars and was able to get a last minute appointment at this dentist. Everyone from the front desk to the dental assistant to the dentist herself could not have been any nicer and non judgemental. I highly highly recommend this practice especially if it's been a while or you are afraid. Super gentle and kind I could not be happier with my experience. read more

Absolutely wonderful staff! I see Dr. Nancy Weiner. She does whatever she can for all of her patients! They hate to see people in pain. They are all so loving, caring, kind and great with kids also! Dr. Nancy is straight forward and she is a perfectionist on top of it so you get qualilty work and care along with fair prices. I will never go anywhere else. For the record, I have horrrrrrrrible anxiety when it comes to the dentist. Like I'd rather kick my own butt then go to the dentist. Dr. Nancy is the most amazering dentist ever! Her staff is also amazing. They do not scrap and poke and "hurt" you at all. I just had a filling done by Dr Nancy and she talked me through the whole thing. She is feisty, but nice as well. You can tell she cares about what she does, and loves it too. I am so happy to have her as my dentist. Its even a rather "high tech" office as they use ipads and such. Kinda cool. Anyway, if you have an irrational aversion, don't look any further than Dr. Nancy and her crew! Sweet gals! read more

These ladies are great, I have horrible dentist anxiety issues and the staff here is very honest, professional, friendly and patient. I found them through my dental insurance provider but they are really a gem. The staff is great and Very meticulous at everything they do inside your mouth. I highly recommend them to anyone that would need a dentist in my area. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Nancy and staff. She was professional, yet personal and genuine. Ive never had a dentist explain the way she did about my X-rays and work recommended. I am petrified of needles and must say never felt a thing. I was shocked at how easy and painless the experience was. Now my family and friends all go and everyone is thrilled. What dentist place doesn't even answer their phone with almost 20 minutes till closing time. Oh right this one. I called a dozen times just to get a answer to my question. With it being only 13 minutes from my location. I thought hey why not try them and see. Guess they don't want my money either. That's fine. I don't want to come here now nor will I call again. Sorry to say but my husband and I will never be back. I worked in a dental office for over three years and know how it should be done. First off, my cleanings are always about 3 minutes. Cleanings should be around an hour or 45 minutes. My husband has periodontal disease and his cleanings should never be less than 45 minutes at the very least. The hygienist barely touches each tooth, flosses and polishes. It's all about production there (get them in get them out) and not the actual care of the teeth. Dr. Nancy rudely asked me why I am breast feeding, asked when I'm stopping and had no clue whether or not I could whiten while doing so. Also, Dr. cussed while I was in the chair.. twice..professional.. Also, no one cleaned the chair or equipment prior to me going in the operatory to have my "exam". I also asked the hygienist if I can have fluoride/if my insurance covers it. She said its only for people 14 and younger and while that may be true for some plans it's not true for all. (I know because I was an insurance coordinator at my last position!) She said she would look for me and never mentioned it again. I didn't get a toothbrush or floss or told where to work on more, I didn't have anything explained to me about the condition of my mouth or anything at all. I gave it two appointments hoping the second would be better and it just isn't. My teeth feel like they haven't been cleaned at all and my husband and I want to call our insurance company and tell them not to pay the claim as we feel it is almost insurance fraud. The front desk didn't know if they did X-rays or not; the patient could lie to them to keep their benefits low for the year! It is a mess there. When asking my husband if he wants to reschedule they said it would be June, six months from now; but if they had any clue as to what was going on they would know that a patient with periodontal disease needs to be seen every three or four months. (duh!) Also I hate the two levels inside and how they call your name on the intercom to come up. It's weird. And also, I heard Dr Nancy with another patient blaming another Dr on the "mistake" in her mouth. That is so unprofessional! Definitely won't be back. Can't wait to move back to my previous dental office where they actually clean the teeth and each tooth at that, all while explaining everything they see. Oh, and while not cussing too.. read more
