Tory was so unobtrusive. I only remember seeing her twice - when she first got there and when she said goodbye. When I saw the photos, I was surprised that she was able to get such good shots, since I don't remember her being so close. She took some amazing photographs of the first time I held my son. She also took great photos of his first exam, which was awesome since I was completely out of it by then (it was a very long labor) and I missed seeing that. I highly recommend her services.

Brooke's patience, professionalism, skill, and artistic eye are evident in all of her pictures. Every time I'm in town visiting my sister she is my go-to person for pictures. She is very considerate and attentive to what I want but she's also not shy to give input or share her ideas on what she thinks will work well. What I love is that she goes through all the pictures after the session, picks the best ones to edit, then provides them on a USB flash drive and sends them to me in the mail wrapped in cute packaging with a sweet note. We also did photos in a nearby Bakery- Sweet As Can Be Bakery which was Amber Elaine's idea. She liked the idea of us cheering with cupcakes since we didn't have a wedding cake. And the Owner didn't receive one of our reservations and was confused about why we were "lying" about us making a reservation then wanted me and my other party to share the room even though they had other rooms. The other party was trying to explain why they needed a room separate and he kept speaking to me in ENGLISH for me just to speak to them IN ENGLISH! It made no sense! We canceled and will never be going back to that one. Now I understand why they are only 2 stars.

I had found her through puppyfind.com and she had answered all my questions (and believe me I had a lot, I was waiting for her to yell at me lol since I had never purchased a puppy online). She was so kind, I was honest with her I was looking at another puppy also and she understood it was a big decision and she never brushed me off. And when I had decided to go with her I couldn't decide between two of her puppies they were just so beautiful!! If I could I would have wanted them both! When I did decide on Riley she took him off puppyfind and her website even before our deposit had gone through (we had a headache of a time working with paypal to get our payment through to her). This was a big deal especially since it took a lit' less than a week for the payment to go through so she never tried to find another buyer while we had paypal problems. I really appreciated that. Riley was a birthday present from my wonderful boyfriend (he was wonderful even before he bought me a puppy just to clarify, hehe) and she knew it was for my birthday so even before the payment was confirmed in her account she was kind enough to make an airplane reservation for Riley. The payment went through on thursday, April 2nd and she had put Riley on a continental flight 6am her time friday, April 3rd so he'd arrive at the earliest arriving flight at John Wayne Airport which was 10am our time for my birthday!! Wow, what a way to celebrate my birthday with a new furry part of my growing family. Riley is a beautiful liver/tan mini schnauzer who has a super coat to die for!! He is a recessive coloring for a black/silver he is a dark chocolate with beautiful greenish hazel eyes. I've had him for a month now and man I can count the number of his carpet accidents on one hand!! He was obviously potty trained. He has melted into my family seamlessly. My 8 month old female, Shelby loved him instantly. His personality is so sweet he loves to cuddle and is super mellow and calm (almost a total opposite from my female). He's my lit' live teddy bear!! He feels just as soft as a teddy bear too with his beautiful fluffy coat. Riley is a smart lit' boy it's been a breeze to train him. Obviously, there is not enough good things to say about both Marilyn as a breeder and Riley as a smart, beautiful pup! Right now, since I basically do have 2 puppies it'll be too hard to deal with a 3rd pup but maybe next year I'd love for a 3rd pup and Mini Acres will definitely be a the first place I'll look when we're ready.

My son, who was scared of dogs, now plays with these sweet, gentle little puppies, who have already learned not to jump on/play bite/roughhouse with him. They are sweet, smart and beautiful dogs - a wonderful addition to our family. Marilyn is really honest and knows her stuff about her schnauzers. She truly cares about all of her dogs and also about her customers. Whatever you're looking for in a puppy, I feel she is patient and really tries to make sure you find that quality (calm personalities, for us). She wants puppy and owner to be a good match. I would not hesitate to recommend her!
