Gus Mayer is one of those legacy Birmingham stores that you make your lovely Grandmother take you to to shop at. But, they're shoes you can't find anywhere else in town. **A note for this year (2025): they had a pair of shoes I wanted that were from Italy, and upon messaging the brand directly, I do believe I avoided some hefty tariff fees by buying the shoes IRL here.
