She also gave us a card that is stamped each time you make a purchase. After ten stamps, you get $50 off your purchase. As we walked through the store, we saw many interesting items, from furniture to jewelry to real fur coats. There was an African section and we knew right away that we'd be purchasing something from this section. We decided on an African djembe that was the painted with bright colors. It's going to look great in our living room. At check out, they request to see your driver's license if you're paying with a card, which is something I like. There were also refreshments, and they had a drawing for a gift card. If you're looking to do your own "picking," this isn't it, but there are some nice items. Booths are curated collections of items both new and old, and while I didn't find anything I just had to have, and partly because I was just looking around, I didn't end up taking anything home that day. However, if I were looking for a period piece, or something to redo a room or space, I would consider looking here for something that isn't a big box, mass produced piece.

I only noticed maybe one unoccupied booth and that's always a good sign to me. I made four purchases and at checkout I was surprised to find out that there was a 20% discount value for each item. How nice. It seems to me that the Owners still value the customer. For example, instead of tossing my purchases in a chintzy plastic bag, my purchases were placed in paper shopping bag with carrying handles. Call me silly, but it's those kinds of added touches that make me want to buy from shops/stores that make me feel appreciated.
