She's seriously the sweetest and always has the best energy. I always look forward to taking her classes. I also love how hot the classes are, and honestly the cleanliness deserves a shoutout too. Even the showers are always super clean, Overall 10/10. I always enjoy coming here and would definitely recommend this studio!

HOWEVER, Yoga 8 is not for the faint of heart or for folks who are just getting started. The energy here - from the staff, the rules, the parking - is serious. People here are friendly, but intense. The front desk folks are incredibly helpful and empathetic. I truly cannot give enough stars for the hard work they do. The place is spotless, they offer fresh towels and yoga mats, and their work is impeccable. Every teacher I've had is part coach, part preacher, part fitness instructor. If you value having someone yell motivational platitudes over the music while you're holding a squat, you'll enjoy this class. However, sometimes I do get triggered/overstimulated by how hot they keep their rooms and how intense every workout is. Sometimes I wished Yoga 8 could offer more onboarding/less intense options for people who are new to the studio/fitness journey. The main drawback is the parking. Never in my life have I needed to get two *different* validations from two *different locations* in order to park in the garage. You have to get validated by the machine on the 9th floor FIRST and then by the studio after. I do feel like this is a liability for the studio! The classes are really hard and sometimes I feel incredibly lightheaded after class. Requiring students to march up a precarious flight of stairs (you take the elevator to the 8th floor and then walk up from there to the 9th floor) after they've dehydrated themselves during class leaves their students in a slightly dangerous situation. I wish the studio owners could work out a better deal with their building.

When I started this journey last year, my health and well-being were in a really bad spot. Bikham Hot Yoga has been a complete game-changer for my mental, physical, and emotional health. I've lost over 20 pounds, lowered my A1C, and significantly increased my physical endurance and flexibility. Best of all, I feel absolutely amazing after every single class. The instructors here are trained to deliver Liz's vision and teach as if she were in the room herself. I cannot emphasize enough the incredible level of professionalism, care, and respect they show every day. Thank you, Liz and team (Adrianne, Rich, BK, Sandi, Vivian, Kim, Chantal, Vicky, Andrew, Lee, Reyna and staff), for being such a vital part of our community. I am so grateful for your studio, your services, and your fair pricing!

The Guide: Carolina Pelayo * Hot Vinyasa Flow * The room was already warm, dark, candle-lit, & peppermint in the air. Carolina invited us to notice our own energy... Maybe even our neighbor's. Then she asked us to ask ourselves: "What do I need from my practice today?" (Good question.) Then... We breathed. We flowed. Somewhere between Skandasanas and a one-legged vinyasa... I accidentally kicked a young man behind me in the head. He smiled. "It's okay." We kept flowing. Carolina closed class the same way she opened it - with intention - inviting us to carry the energy we created into the rest of our week. The Tribe: * A stranger helped me check in. Another smiled after I kicked him. Carolina held the whole room with warmth. A pretty good description of the community. Space & Place: * Dark. Cozy. Hot. (My kind of room.) Private bathroom inside the yoga room. Cubbies for your things. Free parking garage if you get there early. Street parking worked just fine for me. The Takeaway: * The studio had a self check-in. So did the class. Only one required a touchscreen.

Immediately was greeted when I walked in. I signed up for the quiet Gong healing meditation. It was the day of the full moon and I needed a more calming vibe and I'm so glad I did. She told me what "supplies" we needed (we used two big heavy pillow things, two blankets, two blocks, and my own mat). I never knew yoga could utilize so many things but it was fun! We only did 4(ish) poses besides the warm up but the time flew by. And they felt so good and relaxing. The room was dark with fun lights. It was so pretty and so peaceful. Heather explained everything perfectly. And had some pretty great jokes. It was a really good, lighthearted, calm way to end my day. If I manage to get finances together, I'd love to do a membership here. Only con - parking is hard. Not much around there and no lot. But it's Noho. Just gotta prepare for that.

I absolutely love how Georgina runs her prenatal yoga classes. Her flows and poses feel safe and supportive for our growing bodies and babies, but they aren't overly easy and still feel challenging. She encourages you to modify depending on how you feel and I always leave class feeling strong and empowered - exactly what I want and need as I prepare for this birth. The Aqua Mamas classes are just heavenly. They take place in a heated pool in an oasis that is her back yard. We use pool "weights", bands, and noodles during class. Similar to her yoga classes there is room for you to modify and get a good workout or take it easy and just enjoy stretching and being buoyant in the water. Class sizes are intimate and on the smaller side. It's a treasure to be surrounded by other pregnant women sharing stories, milestones, or just our latest aches and pains! I'm in my 39th week now - still taking yoga at Two Hearts and still feeling great. I attribute that to moving, stretching, and feeding off of the strong feminine energy that permeates her classes.
